"The hotel is in a great location (less than two mins from Jesmond Metro) and my room was spotlessly clean. Staff were very helpful; in particular, James (Front of House Manager) who went above and beyond checking me in to Holiday Inn, as I’d spent the previous night at 91 Aparthotel where there were cleanliness issues."

"Very clean, quiet were in 415...good towels..shower gel / hand wash in dispensers...wardrobe big with spare pillows..no drawers as such..hospitality tray very basic, 2 bottles of water on arrival... Breakfast was good, buffet style...juices, tea, coffee etc..all good..easy checkout on line if it works..mine didn't.. left case so we could do a bit more shopping...staff nice..get well soon Scotty..."

"Overall a very good hotel, staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good. The location was good, shopping, attractions and restaurants were all within walking distance. The room was very large. The decor was a little tired and could use updating. One negative is that the room was extremely hot. There was no way to open the windows and there was no air conditioning."

"This is a lovely little hotel in a perfect spot to visit Newcastle. The staff were all lovely and were keen to make my stay as good as possible. My room was on the 2nd floor and there is no lift (which I knew but still overpacked!) so perhaps don't take one big suitcase like I did! The hotel is well maintained but is not "modern". It has everything you could want except if you stay at the height of a heatwave, there is no AC (i was given a fan which suited me but just a note). The bedroom doors are heavy and slam as people go in and out, which made me jump every time my neighbours went in or out. Also my room faced the road so as i had to have the windows open, I could hear every word from every person visiting the local shop over the road as well as the traffic. Just something to be aware of if you need silence! The free WiFi was a decent speed and the parking spots are a godsend in this part of Jesmond. The room was spotless and the breakfasts were delicious. I'd definitely recommend staying here as access to everything is close by via the Metro or by foot, and you'll get a fantastic Geordie welcome."
