The staff was very friendly and helpful, great service from the concierge to the front desk to the restaurant servers. The location was central, easy to many restaurants and groceries nearby, it was also near the sightseeing buses. "

The staff at the pool are great too! Location great. Only small downside is the lifts are a bit slow only 3 for 25 floors so can take a while for one to arrive / be empty. "

"This was my second time staying at Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach, and it was just as amazing as the first. I travelled with my family in July, and we all had an excellent experience. The breakfast selection was outstanding, the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was pure luxury. My parents absolutely loved it, and the kids couldn’t get enough of the rooftop pool! Everything from check-in to check-out was seamless. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect family-friendly yet luxurious stay in Dubai."

"What can I say? The 6th time we have stayed here tells you all you need to know about his hotel. The food, the pool, the rooms, the gyms, sauna and steam room. All perfect especially for children too. Very good area with easy transport links via the tram and metro. The ultimate reason for returning is the staff, special mention for Irene, Araf the lifeguard and Elizabeth in reception. All other staff are friendly, kind and approachable. A testament to Movenpick and the reason we are keep returning. "

"Although it’s not a 5 star hotel everyone was 5 star service , they will order you cars cheaper then uber , help with anything you need, their breakfast was great and staff service tops "

"This is a tricky review. I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton from 19-24th Sept 2025. On arrival I was told there was renovation work on the beach by the Dubai Government and it was short notice. That may be true but I’m certain they had enough notice to inform me ahead of time but I suspect they didn’t because they knew it would be off-putting so they waited until I arrived. I heard them telling the same thing to guests checking in on the 24th and the work had been going on many days already so that seems to confirm they were waiting for guests to arrive before informing them. This was my first visit to the Ritz-Carlton and I’d been looking forward to it for months. Sadly the renovation work on the beach had significant impact to my enjoyment of the holiday. It’s was essentially a construction site on the beach with barriers separating sun loungers and sea and guests having to walk through a small gap and across large tyre tracks to get to the sea. Sections of the beach were restricted with the parts that were open not in the best condition with a white scum on the service and some debris and plastic. I’ve no doubt this is temporary due to the ongoing work but it was still very frustrating and disappointing. I feel bad for the Ritz-Carlton as it is the Government and not RC’s fault but when you’re paying a good amount of money for a 5 star holiday it left me feeling deflated.
