Remember to book in advance if you are arriving from the train station as this will save you the taxi fare! The rooms are large and the public bath is a treat. "Beautiful property, wonderful public onsen, and excellent restaurant. Very peaceful location. While I loved my room (which was high up and overlooked the forest), it involved climbing some very steep stairs. Travelers with mobility issues should be careful about which rooms they reserve. I stayed two nights and wish that I had stayed three."
