"Typical country hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food (dinner and breakfast) was nicely served but the fryer is overused, so wouldn't excite Michelin man. The bedroom was clean and well decorated, the bed very comfortable and quiet although the windows wouldn't open. The hotel could do with a maintenance man a couple of days a week, the toilet seat was loose, the corridor paintwork needs touching up and the corridor/ stair carpets need replacing or at least cleaning to name but a...

"This place was fantastic. Location was great to visit all the towns nearby. The house was nicely furnished with all the amenities. Lots of space to move around. The last evening was chilly so we had a fire and it really warmed the place up!"
