"We found the home to be a very nice size with ample room for us. The recent upgrades and renovations were very well done. We did have a bit of difficulty navigating the one way streets for the parking situation. Parking lot across the street was close and free during our stay which was very good. Parking nearly by on the street would have been a challenge. The property was in an area urban renewal. Was well within an easy walk to the High Street. "

"I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. Falstone is a great staging post for Kielder Forest, and there’s plenty of adventurous things to do near by, endless walks...

The apartment was convenient for catching buses for days out. The welcome tray was appreciated and the apartment had all the facilities we needed for our stay. We would stay again."

"List of things to complain about: no hot water except in shower which is on different system; heat and gas did not work (after watching video of how to operate systems in rental); window coverings falling down and inadequate (sun pouring in at 4 in the morning); inadequate directions to locate property ( words go around bac would help) keys not where we were told (they did fix this issue on the phone). "Apartment Spotlessly Clean. Hosts were first class, re-communication, parking details etc. Great walks, Good Pubs, Good places to eat. Would be very unfair not to give the Hosts and the Property 10 out of 10. Would recommend and will most definitely come back to Briella apartment. Dogs or Pets not allowed which in my opinion is perfect!"

"Lovely spacious well-heated house in beautiful countryside. We had a week of snowy weather which was heavenly. Edward, the owner was extremely helpful. He towed out some cars which got stuck in the car park by the house, provided lots of logs, replaced the washing machine which had problems and was generally a great help. This is a house for people who like old books and furnishings...don't go there if you want modern posh."

After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful .
