"Excellent stay. Room was a good size with a comfortable bed and a good shower. Breakfast was continental and perfectly presented. The evening meal was the biggest helping of fish and chips I have ever had."

"Six of us were travelling up to Scotland and booked 3 rooms for one night. We all thought that the rooms were very clean and comfortable with amazing views across to Bamborough. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room was most welcome after a long drive. We ate at the restaurant which had a very good menu, the food was very good and well presented and reasonably priced. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful too. I would happily recommend Purdy Lodge without hesitation."
