"We recently stayed at May Cottage and it was just what we needed. The cottage is lovely and much bigger than we anticipated, especially the bedrooms - they’re a really big! Kitchen has everything you need and even though we had taken hand wash and washing up liquid etc, it was all provided. Even dishwasher tablets! The views from the garden are exceptional and it was very quiet. We loved sitting watching the families of swallows flying in and out of their nests and listening their babies...

"We had a lovely time staying at Braeside, and found the cottage was exactly as the listing stated. The location is just remote enough to feel like you're really in the countryside, but near enough to Wooler that you're able to nip to the shops. The 'Good Life Shop' let us sample lots of local cheeses, and the 'Milk Bar' served the best ice creams for miles around. "A sweet, well appointed cottage close to the river and lovely walks. The weather was bitterly cold which, getting away to The Borders in the middle of March, came as no surprise to us! The cottage was cosy and toasty warm, with a lovely welcome basket full of goodies. En-suites for both of us was a luxurious treat.
