"Sara and Chris were the perfect hosts. They really made our break away something to remember. The Snug had everything we wanted and more besides. The Valentine treats were a lovely gesture and much enjoyed. My little girl slept on her rose petals every night! Everything was so thoughtful from the extra bird and squirrel food to the sliders for use in the hot tub, which we also loved. We loved the walk to the lake and had a delicious meal in the Coach House, but the highlight was our 'pet' red...

"Gorgeous hut, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Made very welcome by the owner who was really helpful and responsive. The hut is located in the grounds of a beautiful farm house, next to fields with horses and sheep for company. Very friendly farm dogs visited us now and again and the few huts were well placed for privacy but it didn’t feel too isolated either. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you."

"Really lovely little hut with stunning views. Ever bit of space has been utilised to it's fullest. Great for a couple of nights away, longer may have been tricky as no where to put clothes in the huts but space under the bed for cases etc. Loved sitting outside with fire pit when weather permitted. Owners were on hand if needed."

"Myself, husband and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Foxglove. Great facilities and a fabulous location. We were lucky with the weather so barbequed and sat out with a fire. Stunning coast only a few miles away gave us lots of amazing walks."

"Amazing modern lodge in a stunning location, so peaceful and not too far away from the village of Melrose, would highly recommend for a relaxing break. Loved sitting in the hot tub watching the abundance of wildlife in the fields next door!"

"This place was fantastic. Location was great to visit all the towns nearby. The house was nicely furnished with all the amenities. Lots of space to move around. The last evening was chilly so we had a fire and it really warmed the place up!"
