"A rustic rugged little motel in small town Kenai. Appeals to people who come for the fishing and do not require luxury. Has all the basics: tv, microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, internet"

"The room I stayed in was on the historic side. I had an issue with the door lock and staff had to demonstrate how it works. The bathroom is shared as well. This wasn’t a big issue for me. Also no elevator so it was a challenge getting luggage up and down the stairs. The location was great and I had an excellent sleep. No ac but it felt perfect with the window open. I would stay here again."

"This is in a convenient location if you're visiting the Seward/Kenai Fjords area. The views around the property are stunning! We stayed in a twin room and it was VERY basic and outdated. It reminded us of staying at old family cabins back in the 80s. We were on a budget and found it kind of charming and nostalgic. Internet service did not work consistently and we got the best service sitting outside on the porch. Our twin room only had one electrical outlet near the beds and it was high up and difficult to reach for my husband to plug in his CPAP machine. We loved the drinks and the food at the bar/restaurant. We would go back just for the roasted brussel sprouts!"

Land's End Resort

"I waited so long to visit the spit and Land’s End did not disappoint. It was everything I thought it would be. We enjoyed a beautiful room with an ocean view right on the beach. It was a treat to watch the fishing and charter boats leave in the morning as they pass by the window. Stayed for two nights to go on a Bear Viewing Tour and then of course needed to do some shopping. Everything was provided for our needs and comfort and there was no need to ask for more. Great place to stay!!"

"The cabin is on the rustic side with older tub and shower but clean and plenty of hot water. Very comfortable bed. Very roomy sitting area with sofa and a small table and chairs. There’s also a patio. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great meal in the dining room and the coffee at the expresso bar was excellent."
