We spent 3 nights here and it was in a lovely secluded area. Very quiet and warm. About 20-30 mins drive from lake Windermere. The cottage consists of a living room, bedroom and kitchen and bathroom. Ideally equipped for 2 people. Very clean and tidy. A well equipped kitchen with full size fridge and freezer. Tv in the living room and bedroom, with some dvds available for entertainment. Be prepared to shop for food and drink as the nearest shops are a few minutes drive away. The parking area is tight (we had a large car) but there are other cottages close by and we parked in a neighbouring drive, which was appreciated. The only downside was the lack of extra toilet rolls, so bring some with you when you stay Overall a very nice place to spend a few days away from the hectic modern life.
