"Very reasonable price, surprisingly big standard double room with a work desk & chair and big bed. Everything clean. Good shower. Noise level was fine, everything was silent by midnight. Bed was pretty hard but that's better than getting poked by springs I guess! Didn't stay for breakfast but it's just toast/cereal. Can't complain for the price though. 24hr staffed front desk. Would stay again if I had a need in the area."

Basic amenities in room lacking - no bin in bathroom, bed sagging at one side, lack of sockets, unable to get shower to work - no one in property in morning to ask for help. Noise from bar until midnight - could hear conversations, music & pool being played. "

Excellent breakfast included in the very reasonable price. Accommodation was enough to M1 to be handy for commute, whilst also being out in the countryside and a very picturesque spot. "Property very nice on the whole though a little rough around the edges in places, many patio doors and french doors difficult to close and lock and could do with attention. Similar story with other items throughout the property and decor. Grounds are large and pleasant, i imagine it to be beatuiful in the summer. House is spacious and warm with the heating working well and many rooms having underfloor heating too. New carpets throughout living rooms and upstairs areas. Lots of glasses, cups...
