This property is overpriced. The rooms and indoor areas are in need of update. It was very crowded during our stay, with lots of screaming kids. Of the numerous pool and beach chairs onsite, we were not able to secure any over our 4 day stay. The beach is just ok. We had long waits for food. It was unclear before we arrived that the prepaid breakfast was just for 2 people, although we booked a stay for 3 people. We also did not know that the property allowed day guests, which decreased amenities and services provided to paying hotels guests, and added to the overcrowding. We will not be back.

When we checked in for our honeymoon they did not have the room I reserved. So my husband and I spent our honeymoon in separate queen beds. The ice machine didn’t work. Good was expensive and not that good. They sell day passes so the entire place was swarmed with people.

Love this property!!! We went during spring break so it was pricey but a fantastic trip. My boy comment would be that I wished they had more activities for kids and water sports on the facility. They had a some but not enough to keep active kids occupied for more than a few days.

I really liked the restaurants and beach area. The resort has a lot to offer for recreation- bikes, kayaks, paddle boards. The property is gorgeous and the staff was very friendly and willing to help you in any way. My only complaint is housekeeping. Our room was “cleaned” only once in 5 days. The only thing they did was empty trash and make the beds. No fresh towels, toilet tissue or Kleenex. I had to call almost every night for fresh towels. Also, there is constant music playing at the pool area. It’s not offensive during the day, however, it pays all night long and into the morning. Otherwise, it was a great vacation with beautiful views and I highly recommend the water cabanas!

This resort was outstanding and was enough to make our journey worthwhile. However, traveling around Key Largo was filled with busy one way roads and limited dining. A 3 hour drive to Key West in traffic, FYI.

Our room overlooked the parking lot. I requested either a water view or resort view, NOT a parking lot view! You have to call the front desk and request to have your room cleaned. I asked for a laundry bag (not one in the closet) and after 90 min of waiting, I gave up. And on our last day, the water in the entire resort stopped working. So glad I wasn't in the shower at the time. Unacceptable. Will not return to this hotel.

Playa Largo was incredible! We had an amazing time. The location was perfect but make sure to have a car. Rooms were extremely comfortable. We did have an issue with the hot water in the shower, we somehow figured out that if you run the hot water in the sink and run the shower at the same time the water warmed up. If you didn't do this, then you were taking a cold shower. This was in the Reef Tower, not sure if it's the same in other buildings. Food options were good, but could've been a little more abundant. If you are someone who just needs to grab a bite, it will be more then ok. If you are looking for vast options, then you may want to travel off the resort like we did. You can be as busy, or as chill as you want. The resort beach always had chairs to lounge in, and were never full. The staff is always on the lookout, and walking around catering to the guests so big up to them. All in all we really enjoyed our trip to Playa Largo and will return again one day for sure. 4 stars was only cause of the hot water, and the Fee Heavy check out, but I guess it's part of the game.

Love the staff and the breakfast was amazing. Everything about it was awesome, but there's a resort fee. There's a parking fee of $25 a day that expected to tell you about and they charge you at the end so make sure to look up all the hidden cost to stay here

We do have a daily resort fee of 49 that includes fitness facility access, pool access, beach access, beach loungers, nightly entertainment at Eventide, welcome drink, fishing poles and bait and the marina, sport courts and beach towels. We loved our stay. I was disappointed by the Spa. When my daughter and I entered and asked to talk about services we were “pointed” to a code on the wall. There was no greeting (service lacking). First she told us there was a massage opening, but then apologized as there was not. We absolutely loved resort. Spa personnel (up front) need better training to welcome clients.
