"The place is clean, and quaint. The staff is very helpful. Unfortunately, the sargassum was still pretty bad so the water was murky and smelled horrible. The pool was closed for maintenance, but we were allowed to use their Sister property. Breakfast was great!"

"We just wrapped up a magical week at this amazing property! We were fortunate to have all four of kids and a son in law with us. The pier is incredible! 285’ into the Gulf! We saw a manatee, several tarpon, and two types of sharks. We also caught snapper, grunt, barracuda and more with cut bait. The pool was immaculate and the house doesn’t disappoint in any way. Plenty of cookware, dishes, and utensils for us to stock up and use the fully equipped kitchen. Great week at a great place!"

"Beautiful property and Roman and Karen are wonderful hosts. The house is clean and well stocked. The linens and towels are high quality. The pool is perfect and the view is unmatched. We loved the property so much that we never wanted to leave. Roman and Karen are the nicest hosts and available for anything you might need at a moment’s notice. Excellent experience all around."

"Overall, the house was great for our family of 6 adults and 1 toddler. I think the inside of the house was exactly as pictured and very nice. The outside, however, I would not rave about. Something unspecified in the listing and unknown to us newcomers is that the Florida Keys’ beaches fill with sargassum (a sulfur smelling seaweed) in the summer months. Anytime we went outside, we would nearly throw up from the smell. I messaged the host about this and was told there are sometimes community efforts to clean it but nothing would be done. Also, the pool looked dirty but it was just where the paint had rubbed off on the frequently used parts. If you are looking for a house to stay in, I think the house is great and incredibly nice! If you’re wanting to stay here in summer months to soak in the beachfront part of the house, I don’t think I could completely recommend it."

"Very well kept and clean. A starter cleaning kit was there when I arrived. It was just 2 of us. So the kit and paper towels would have been sufficient. But I did purchase extra. Laundry soap, dishwashing soap, dish soap, 1 roll of paper towels, toilet paper. There was also beach towels and a beach umbrella. Initially- I was told there wasn't anything that was offered. So that was a pleasant surprise. It is a drip coffee pot, coffee liners were there. The pots and pans are kept on the back side of the island. I did have a problem with the lock on the door. I somehow reset the darn thing and reached out to mgmt to reset/fix. It never was addressed. I know because I could never lock it after day 3. There is absolutely no privacy on either deck. Up or down. It would be nice if a blind or a wall separated you from your neighbor. We did not have access to the resort amenities. But we were ok with that. This VRBO is perfectly placed between Key Largo and Key West. I would def consider returning to this place if I ever decide to come back to the keys. It would be nice if there was a guest book that you could sign and or give suggestions to the following renters. Lots of quaint restaurants. We wanted to steer clear of the tourist traps, so found small hidden finds. Very pleased with our stay. "
