"The hotel was quite nice, the staff was extremely helpful and courteous, the breakfast was excellent. The only thing I didn't like was having to pay for parking but you can prepay for the entire night at the desk, get a scan card, and come and go as you like."

What is a historic hotel like in Kilsallaghan?
Historic hotels give guests the opportunity to stay in a place officially recognised with a national historic designation. Historic hotels throughout the world can take the form of palaces, castles, stately homes or even lodges, pubs or skyscrapers — any building that's been identified as being of special interest. What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
The two are similar. The term "historic hotel" is more common in the U.S., while you'll often hear "heritage hotel" in Asia and Europe.
