Travelodge Dublin Airport North Swords

Pinnock Hill Roundabout, Swords - Map
"Simple, yet warm and comfortable. "
This Travelodge is a great place for transitioning to/from airport. Noting fancy, but warm and comfortable. The room I had had a noisy heater that clanged on a regular basis, which was annoying. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They arranged a taxi for me and the check-in was super fast (thanks to Expedia!).

"Comfortable, cozy hotel near the airport"
A surprising, cozy little hotel near the airport. You will need your own transportation to get to this hotel, but it was such a surprise! The hotel was an Irish experience. We stayed there overnight so we could get to the airport quickly in the morning. It was a perfect experience. It was also close to Swords, which is a good place to have a quick dinner in the evening.

"Nice, updated room close to airport"
This was a surprisingly pleasant stay. It consists of a few rooms above a bar/restaurant. Beware music from the bar below, it can get kinda loud before things shut down around 12:30. But the room was nice and clean and a short ride from the airport.

"The quick in and out"
We needed a place to stay for the night before our flight out. The folks were better to us than family and the house and grounds were outstanding. Country setting with all the charm Ireland could give. Do it again if I had the opportunity. ps Food was terrific.

"Great location if you want to be close to Dublin."
This lovely B & B is in Swords which is a nice Irish town and the B & B is only a ten minute walk to the express bus into Dublin and a fifteen minute walk into Swords town center. We had the twin ensuite and the room was plenty big enough. Elaine is s FABULOUS host! She is so friendly and knowledgeable about the buses and things to do in the area. Elaine recommended we have dinner at The Old School House Restaurant in Swords which was delicious! The breakfasts are wonderful that Elaine prepares.

"Very convenient location, quiet and comfortable"
Frequent buses to Dublin depart from Swords town center, which is just a 10 minute walk away from San Augustine. Bus journey to Dublin takes about 45 minutes and buses run till late in the evening. Swords Town center has great restaurants, pubs and other shops. Great Irish breakfast served by Anna, who also helped provide Gluten Free options. Very hospitable and friendly couple, willing to help with information and questions. B&B is very clean, quiet, well appointed and comfortable.

"Nice B&B close to town"
Wonderful greeting from Sharon who gave us good information for restaurants in walking distance since we were starving and didn't want to drive another mile. Lovely room and bathroom. We were treated to an early morning breakfast basket because we had to catch our flight so early. Sharon came by our room to make sure we were set for the evening before she went out. A very nice gesture, I thought.

    Pocket Guide: Swords

    Hotels @Swords

Swords offers a warm and inviting welcome to anyone who comes to visit. A fast-growing, attractive town, with excellent transport connections and amenities, there is ample accommodation here to suit every need and budget, from boutique guesthouses right in the centre to cheap hotels on the southern fringe within waving distance of Dublin Airport.

While Swords is situated in greenbelt land, much of this is given over to agriculture, and you need to travel a bit further out for the best views of the countryside. There are numerous hotel properties and bed and breakfasts on the outskirts which offer great value as well as giving you immediate access to the beautiful area around Swords.

    Stay in Swords

Swords has a thriving nightlife scene, with many highly-regarded restaurants to discover, offering everything from traditional Irish cuisine to Indian, Chinese and Italian. Attractive parks, sites of historic significance, and several large retail developments, give plenty of reasons to stay somewhere central. If you want to have breakfast included with your room, need disabled access, or free wifi to enable you to work and connect with family and friends during your holiday, then you won’t be disappointed. Many accommodation providers are also happy to invite pets, which will come in handy if you’re attending any of the major dog events at the nearby National Show Centre, while free car parking is also common.

    Staying Out of Town

Among the many reasons to visit Swords is that there are several superb golf courses and driving ranges in the area. If the thought of indulging in a round before lunch appeals, then you’ll find a hotel close by. Several Swords hotels also have luxurious spa facilities for a spot of pampering. The delightful Irish countryside is never more than a short drive away, especially when you’re staying out of town, so book a room with a view if you can.

    Family-Friendly Swords hotels

Swords makes for a wonderful family holiday destination. The town has acres of parkland with picnic spots, wildlife habitats and playgrounds. During the summer months there are several fun agricultural shows with a lot going on for kids. At Newbridge House, just a few miles down the road, there is a great adventure playground for them to enjoy as well. You won’t find it difficult to find accommodation for your family, with shared rooms, travel cots, child-friendly menus and sometimes swimming pools on-site.

    Business Hotels in Swords

If you’re travelling to Swords on business then the town’s proximity to Dublin and its airport will no doubt be of substantial benefit. Many Swords hotels have useful business facilities such as meeting rooms for hire or technology suites, not to mention wake-up calls, or transfers to and from the airport. It can make financial sense not to stay in Dublin itself, especially when you consider that the travel time from Swords is only between 10 and 15 minutes.
