"It is evident that the owners care for their property and want to offer the very best experience for their guests. The home was stocked with everything you might need. It was well decorated, comfortable, and had the most amazing view of the bay. I would definitely stay here again!"
Paradise: Ocean View Cottage Solar Power Tropical Flower Gardens
10/10 Excellent
"Tucked away but easy to find, our experience at the cottage was truly extraordinary. We stopped at the cottage to spend the night while driving the road to Hana. Terry greeted us upon arrival to give us an introduction to the cottage. The 6 acre property is a former flower farm that Terry and Michael have turned into a sumptuous garden. The cottage is nestled on the mountain facing the ocean. They have thought of everything including fresh eggs from their chickens and delicious Maui grown coffee. There is a cozy nook to read and a panoramic view,of the ocean below. There is a place for everything. If you go, we encourage you to bring your own food to cook a meal because the kitchen is well stocked so you can cook. We would’ve liked to stay another day. Highlights of our trip included a wonderful tour of the gardens. If you love plants and flowers, you will be astonished at the wide variety of extraordinary plants and flowers on the property. We were able to explore the gardens on our own after our arrival. But Terry’s tour and meeting and speaking with Michael was absolutely a highlight. The cottage does not allow animals, but there are three cats and a dog on the property that are excellent tour companions through the garden. Our stay at Entabeni Cottage was a highlight of our wonderful trip to Hawaii. Terry and Michael made us feel so welcome. We had privacy as well. We highly recommend the outdoor shower. We will be back!"
"Check-in was easy, home was fun to stay and prepare our meals. At first we were concerned upon arrival as the home doesn’t have air conditioning. The home cooled down after opening windows & doors. Two fans, plus a ceiling fan kept us comfortable at night. There is a general store nearby which was helpful. Sunrise was beautiful and we enjoyed the walk to the beach from this home. Recommend staying here and thank you to our host and owner."
Exceptional Upcountry Villa with breathtaking views

"We had the most amazing experience in Hawaii and was mostly due to where we stayed! David and Dawn were the most amazing hosts! Very responsive and helpful with restaurants, things to do and made our stay very comfortable! This place was perfect for our family of 5 and the views - stunning!! We plan to come back and know exactly where we would stay!! "
