"Lovely cottage with living space upstairs so you can enjoy views over the valley. Cottage is kept well and wouldn’t consider it ‘tired’ as some reviews indicate. The sofas are now a nice grey, rather than the red in photos. It isn’t near any shops etc bar pubs but nothing is too far away. Try the lovely bake house born and bred at Greenodd. "Lovely cottage with everything you could want."

"Loved this quaint cottage tucked away from hustle and bustle. Ideal for our short stay and plenty to do and see close by. Lovely walks for the dog. Town of Ulverston has lots to see and plenty of history. Beach at Roadhead was very quiet amd sunset beautiful. Ideal location to see other parts of the lakes. Travelled by train from Haverthwaite upto Windermere."
