Traditional hotel, spotlessly clean, with a few creaking bits. Special mention for the excellent receptionist, Jessica. Good value for money and will definitely be back!"

"A good but not outstanding stay. The staff are polite and welcoming, the rooms are comfy and clean. The shower pressure was dreadful though and the TV didn’t seem to have streaming services (if it did they weren’t easy to find). There was no bottled water in the room and the kettle/tea making stuff was cheap. For this kind of price point I’d expect a few more luxuries, but it was a perfectly good place to stay in York."
