"We only stayed for 3 nights but enjoyed our time. We easily commuted to Skye each day for wonderful hiking, returning to a cozy home by the water. Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. Before we returned from hiking she had dispatched her local contact to fix the issue. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!!...

However, the property owner did not communicate via HomeAway nor did she apply the check-out times of the HomeAway website. "Saraig is a hidden gem, in a lovely quiet part of the Highlands. The loch views are beyond description. Highly recommend a loch swim if you’re feeling brave (and have a wetsuit!). The house itself is full of character and with every possible home comfort. Plenty of places to visit nearby, easy to get to local amenities, restaurants etc. Top tip: if you can afford to buy a trail camera (around £50), you will capture some amazing footage of the pine martens and badgers in the garden at night!...

"Tighur was a fantastic place to stay. A very central place 5min off the highway to Skye. Our 6 days were great. Beautiful views and lovely walks around the loch from a clean, warm and roomy property. It had everything you could need. Supermarket, petrol, restaurants and takeaways can all be found not too far away. Thanks for a very lovely stay."
