We would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a rural, country setting. The mountains and loughs in the area are very picturesque."

"Time at the beach that is an 8 minute walk from the chalet was great. You can see the Cliffs of Moher and get some sunset pictures. Beds were comfortable and area was quiet for a good nights sleep. Can cook some meals or dining places not far away. Grocery store is less than 5 minutes away. Larger one is about 15 to 20 minutes away. "

Don’t miss the Prosecco Welcome and the hotel owners talk on the history of the local area and Abbeyglen Castle itself. It was absolutely fascinating, occasionally humorous and brought everything to life. The owner remembered our names from the moment we were introduced. Very rare! I’ve travelled globally for business 2 out of 4 weeks for the past 15 years. I’ve stayed in some fantastic hotels around the world. Our stay at Abbeyglen castle was the most personal and best customer experience I’ve had anywhere."
