"We stayed at this resort as a family with our 10-year-old at the end of December, and we had a really enjoyable time. We were genuinely surprised by the number of pools on the property — there are many of them, most are heated, and they were very pleasant. The food was great, and the staff were always polite, helpful, and welcoming. The beach club was also excellent, and it’s only about 10 minutes away with a dedicated shuttle bus, which made it very convenient. The only negative part of our stay was the pullout sofa bed in the room, which was meant for our child. Our king-size bed was very comfortable, but the pullout mattress was terrible — extremely thin, and you could feel the springs directly through it with almost no cushioning. We had to call the front desk, and they brought a thick blanket to place on top, otherwise our child wouldn’t have been able to sleep on it. Honestly, I’m not sure why such a nice resort with great amenities would have such a cheap pullout mattress. We also spoke to other guests and it wasn’t just us — others had the same issue. Other than that, we really loved our stay. The resort is very green, feels private, and is very family-friendly. This is one of the few places where we can honestly say we would love to come back and stay again."

"Zantamar is still under construction but never bothered by any noise. The room was like a studio and very clean. Could use some storage containers or baggies.We used an Uber for going everywhere but an ATV or cart would have been great for local sites. We walked to the marina. Ask about what's provided in the room. We didn't have an iron and the stores close by are tiny. Take a bag or safe sure bags for trash. Trash is a big problem. We carried all our trash out with us as you should. The people here are amazing, kind, helpful. Even had to visit a local doctor. "

"Would definitely stay here again. It's not a resort by any means but the price point is great; it's more of a condo / apartment building. Communication before and throughout the stay was great; the property manager gave us restaurant recommendations and connected us with a taxi service. Accessibility to downtown was short and easy via quick walk on the beach or by road. The beach in front of the place isn't great but there's a good swimmable beach to either side. "
