"Nice location a few km out of Rotorua. The park-like grounds are a bit odd with the Alice in Wonderland themed art, but peaceful and with nice views of the lake in the distance. The rooms are well appointed but have zero soundproofing: you will hear your neighbors snore and chat, and doors are so flimsy you hear everything going on in the common areas. Bring your best earplugs. Breakfast is decent, service can be slow. Tiny outdoor pool and two nice hot tubs. Maintenance is hit and miss: rooms...

"Room was a little smelly and could have been cleaned better-found a large spider on the ceiling and cobwebs all over. Breakfast was okay nothing special. Excellent location regarding restaurant options and to the beach "

"The staff were courteous and bed was comfortable. The motel was probably very nice 30 odd years ago however it is very tired and old now. There was rubbish under a bed and behind the fridge, there was mould around the joinery, water stains on the ceilings and down the walls from leaks."
