"I stayed in the dome Deluxe Tent and I was truly amazed at this accommodation! The lakefront view was gorgeous to wake up to. I like that there was a mini fridge and kettle with tea/coffee in the room. Also, the couch was very comfy and I was able to borrow a DVD from the office to watch that evening. There was a lot of parking by the dome and the cooking area was clean with enough dishes and utensils."

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at Hatepe. Such a treasure of a place. The bach was also iconic kiwi, great place to unwind, do a puzzle, read a book. Wish I could of stayed longer, highly recommend "

"What a beautiful home with stunning views and so many bedrooms and bathrooms. We lovely the outdoor entertaining area.. was perfect for a special occasion and the kitchen had everything we needed. Only grumbles ... the spa was dirty and had not been heated or balanced PLEASE don't advertise there's is an outdoor spa unless it can be used! I have a hand held cleaner for my spa which cleans it in a couple minutes Also the oven door was broken so the glass kept falling"

Staying here is truly a lesson in excellent hospitality! They offer excellent food, beautiful grounds, comfy rooms and great guidance to their guests. I cannot recommend this place enough!"

"Great location a little outside of town. Clean, comfortable and well stocked, and there was a guide book with a wealth of information. This would be a great location for a larger group, and there's an additional "apartment" attached that you could also rent to expand your numbers. The only thing we could have hoped for was better weather during our time there. :)"

"The place was large and rooms were comfortable. Kitchen and barbecue not clean and not much space left for our food in the fridge. The gas stove was not in good working order. The host responded to our concerns and was generally helpful. "
