Convenient apartment in Barranco Seco
Excellent accommodation, very clean and well equipped. Very convenient for the beach and seafront. Pool area is tidy and cleaned regularly, lots of sunbeds available. The complex was quiet during the day and night. Our host, Sue, communicated with us and was really helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a lovely stay at this ideally located property. Grounds were well maintained and felt a safe complex. The apartment was spotless and modern and contained everything we needed for our break. Hosts communicated really well, couldn’t recommend more highly - this is our first time booking a privately owned property and it’s been a pleasurable experience.

Lovely little place
First impression was this is nice. Communication with owner was excellent. On arrival gated access was straight forward. Entry to the apartment nice and easy with secure keylock on the wall. First impression of the apartment was nice and bright. Sofa was leather recliner and maybe a bit used. Coffee table was a bit cracked on top. But these where minor obsevations. Full working kitchen with all utensils. T.v with every channel you could ever want. Bathroom excellent . My wife loved the rain shower.. Bedroom was very good with plenty storage space and security safe built into the wardrobe. This apartment gets the sun from dawn to sunset. We actually seen the swimming pool getting cleaned every day. Very quiet pool area. Situation of the apartment was excellent. 2 min walk to the beach front. Pub next door to the complex is called bogarts, ideal for last drinks at night.. Bedroom sleep quality was good. Memory foam mattress had developed a lump going straight down the middle, was good as it was like a single bed. Only one little visitor in the whole week on the last night . It did a runner as the wife entered the toilet. Not a brave little cockroach. Would i use this apartment again ?. I certainly would without any hesitation. Thinking oof going back next year. Tables and sunloungers on the terrace area are top notch. Plenty of towels and a washing machine available. This apartment is a home from home. Thank you to the owners.

Perfect apartment, great location
We had a fantastic stay at the Barranco Seco apartment; comms with host Sue were really easy before arrival, and was just a call away when we needed help with the key code. The apartment is spacious, clean and really well equipped, with a terrace that catches the sun all afternoon. The complex is quite quiet but friendly, exactly what we wanted, and in a brilliant location – two minute walk down to the beach road with great restaurants and bars, five minutes to the main beach, and easy half hour walk either to the Old Town or up to the huge Playa de las Pocillos. Definitely hoping to return.

Fantastic stay in a quiet and convenient location, sue is a wonderful host who accommodated all of our needs and made our stay fantastic. Property was well equipped and clean, pool was great too. Only downside is no air conditioning which can get rather hot, but we managed with the provided fan :)

Home From Home
Fantastic location. Less than 5min walk to the closest beach area and also less than 5min walk to the two closest local supermarkets (Spar and HyperDino). Lots of choice of restaurants etc to choose from within 5mins walk. Also there is bus stop and taxi rank less than 5min walk opposite the Casino. There is a great path and a well used cycle path (with some cycle hire places available) all flat, and it will take you from the old town harbour right up to the airport. Accommodation is situated in a complex with mix of residential and holiday lets. The patio area gets the sun all day but there is a parisol for shade if needed. Rooms are plenty big enough for a couple and the bedroom has lots of storage. The apartment has everything you could need for a home away from home.

Nice Apartment in a Great Location.
The apartment is in a good location, a Taxi from/to the airport is 15-20euro's. Very convenient for the local Spar shop or a 20 minute walk to the larger Mercadona supermarket along the strip. The main strip is only two minutes away with no steep hills until you get to the Harbour at the far end of town. The apartment has everything that you need, on a nice quiet, friendly complex with a mixture of Spanish and English residents. Close to bars, restaurants and shops. Stayed here for 3 weeks and this lovely apartment met all our needs. Well located and comfortable. Communication with Sue was good and we were happy with our stay. Sad to be home from lovely Lanzarote! Only negative comment is regarding sun beds around pool - they are old and needing replaced.

Fantastic Spacious Appartment in a good location with a short 15/20 mins to Playa Grande.
The rental process was very easy and the owners responded quickly. Information on property address with access/ WiFi codes plus other info provided a couple of weeks before booking date. A couple of extra pillows in the bedroom would have been nice and an extension lead for the fan helpful. The beds around the pool have seen better days. The cleaning of the pools improved during our stay. Beforehand sand in them wasn't filtering.

Lovely modern apartment with all the facilities you would need. Brilliant location to the strip and Cafe Ola. No steep hills to climb. Spar shop really close by with everything for your holidays. Water, milk and other goodies left for our arrival which were much appreciated. Really enjoyed our stay!

The property is in a very good and central location and very convenient for everything that we required .The main strip is only two minutes away and no steep hills it suited us for my wife has some mobility problems and can’t walk very far. The property has everything that you need very good facilities as described in VBRO we had no problems and would certainly book this apartment again.

Great apartment!
After an 18 month delay, I finally made it to this apartment & had a lovely week in the sunshine! I’d changed my dates 3 times (thanks Covid), but Sue was great to deal with & very understanding. The apartment is situated on a nice quiet complex, which appears to be a mix of holiday lets & full time residents. It’s very close to 2 supermarkets & only a couple of minutes walk to the main strip for bars, restaurants, shops & the beach. Despite being that close, you don’t hear any noise from the bars. I was here on my own, & didn’t spend a lot of time out in the evenings, so the large selection of UK tv channels was perfect for watching Strictly & Bake Off. I’ve been to other apartments with internet TV which kept freezing, but had no problems here. I only used the wifi for browsing, but that worked fine as well. The swimming pool wasn’t heated, so was a bit cold in Nov, but would be lovely in the summer months. There are plenty of sun loungers, so had no issues getting one each day. Some days there were only 3 or 4 people round the pool. This is a great apartment & I’d definitely recommend it.

Schöner Urlaub mit nervigen Nachbarn
Der Kontakt mit Sue war von Anfang bis zum Ende sehr gut. Die Schlüsselübernahme über die Schlüsselbox hat auch einwandfrei geklappt. Die Anlage scheint fast ausschließlich in englischer Hand zu sein, was aber auch kein Problem war. Die meisten waren lieb und nett. Die Lage ist klasse, 200 m die Straße runter und wir waren auf der Hauptstraße mit Geschäften, Restaurants und Kneipen. Zumindest von dort hat man keinen Lärm mitbekommen. Dafür leider von den Nachbarn auf der Terasse gegenüber dem Schlafzimmer: Diese kamen sehr häufig erst um 1 Uhr Nachts nach Hause und haben sich dann noch vielfach 1 Stunde auf der Terasse unterhalten, lautstark gestritten oder auch mal gefeiert. Es habe sich auch viele andere beschwert, leider haben die sich daran nicht gestört. Da blieb einem nicht viel übrig, als das Fenster zu schließen. Wenn es warm ist, auch nicht die beste Alternative. Wir hoffen mal für die anderen Urlauber, dass es sich bei den Nachbarn auch nur um Urlauber handelt....Denn für die Nachbarn kann Sue als Gastgeberin nichts. Ansonsten bietet das Apartment einen Menge Platz und ist mit allen notwendigen ausgestattet.

Très agréable séjour
L’appartement est idéalement placé, proche de tout mais calme et reposant une fois dans la propriété. Il est pourvu de tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin et la propriétaire est attentionnée présente et réactive. Le quartier est vivant, plages bar et commerces accessibles à seulement quelques minutes à pied (3 à 5 minutes) Rien à redire C’était vraiment génial
