We had a lovely 4 night stay here. Rooms were very clean and general hotel felt well looked after. Great pools and 1 heated. Food was nice with great choice. Went all inclusive and felt we got value for money. Great location on the beach front and a nice flat walk to local shops and bars/restaurants.

Serious maintenance required in my room. Inadequate facilities, no bin in the main areas only in the toilet, dressing table but no chair available?? Lack of plug sockets, only 1 in bathroom or unplug the TV. Peeling and scuffed walls. Needed woodwork refurbishing. The room I was originally offered I would have had to walk through an area covered in water from a leaking roof? No danger signs ? I actually mentioned it to reception as I had mobility problems so I was offered another room close to an elevator as I mentioned my mobility. The nearest elevator did not work. Overall not worth the money, stayed in much better for a lot less money. It appears everything questioned they say "see reception". The staff on reception are pleasant but I think some of the areas of complaint are well out of their control. Would never return to this hotel. Paid for buffet as only staying one night ( thank goodness) it was mediocre some of the dishes were tepid and unpleasant. Had much better in other hotels. It appears that some of the staff in the restaurant are not as amenable. I asked as I would miss breakfast ( early flight) could they do anything, they said " see reception" i had already asked reception and they said No. WiFi reception poor, again on asking reception they said because there was no sun try another room ? That was when I encountered the water which was a danger area. This was only rectified by cordoning off after I had told them about it. Overall a very bad experience!!

Pillows are flat and not even worth having. View from junior suite is poor-a brick wall with a few plants...room 1047. Food is bland and repetitive. Snacks outside of meal times are scarce. Can't even get a mouthful of food after 9pm. Staff look unhappy and disinterested with the exception of animation team who work hard in a dated environment. Raised all these issues with a manager who offered no goodwill gesture. Games in arcade room are broken and worn out-be prepared to lose your money. Save up and go to a better hotel!

We had a lovely room overlooking the pool and the sea.Our room was serviced every day and had a balcony which got sun alll afternoon and gave us shelter from the wind which was unusually strong this year.

Nice hotel, staff all very friendly and helpful. There is no kettle in room but asked at reception and given one straight away. Pool towel available so no need to use up suitcase space packing one. Really close to airport €11 in taxi took about 10 minutes. Great walkway straight outside that goes all the way along the coast, you can have a lovely long walk and a short (10 mins) walk round to the end of the runway if you want to sit on the beach and watch the planes landing/taking off. TV only had BBC News in English. Food was ok, always found a few options to eat but unfortunately never hot, luke warm if lucky mostly cold. If you’re all inclusive drinks are on tap/pump to help yourself so easy and convenient.

Our second trip to the Beatriz Playa and once again we had a lovely time. Still managed to get lost in the complex though! Food was varied and tasty, enjoyed a meal at the Oriental restaurant one night. Easy access to the beach promenade which is a lovely flat walk. Just one suggestion (same one as last year). There was very little low level seating round the bar area, just three chairs for disabled and actually room at the back for at least another two tables. The tall bar seating is a struggle for the elderly/those with mobility issues.

I feel the rooms could do with updating/maintenance as the bottom of the some of the doors was separating from the frame and the bathroom door was "sticking" and was difficult to close.

I asked a room with a disabled shower on the ground floor for my mother and I was given a room with a bath on the 2nd floor. She was unable to get into the bath and therefore every evening I had to bring everything down to the showers at the gym to help her wash which wasn't private

This property was very disappointing. Hated the open design. Kids running round corridors all day shouting uncontrolled, noisier than the aircraft flying by! Glad we didn’t buy all inclusive, people we spoke to said food was awful, for example, no meat in lasagne! We bought a meal in pizza place, cheap and nasty food! Was refunded money due to being rushed out by staff who started clearing everything away 5 minutes after we arrived! Good things were: very comfortable beds and great shower. Maids were a bit mean with shower gel, only replaced once. I cannot recommend the Beatriz, was wanting to stay here for a while, paid for superior room, nothing superior about it, looked nothing like picture of room on booking site! Asked for facing airport, didn’t get it!

Clean, comfortable & good value for money
Lovely, spacious, well-equipped room with balcony, very comfy beds and good sized bathroom. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Plenty of space & lots of sunbeds around the 2 pools, one of which was heated. The food was very good and there was always loads of choice - freshly cooked meat & fish, salads, pasta, pizza, stew, lots of different veg & potatoes plus fresh fruit, cakes & deserts. The spa pool was well worth a visit for an extra 12€ for 2hrs. Great location right on the seafront with a long, flat pedestrianised promenade all along the coast. Very close to the airport (lots of low-flying planes coming & going but not a problem at all!). Would definitely be happy to go back and would recommend to others.

Good time spent
Overall stay in this hotel was great. I spent only a week in January '23. Location of the hotel is fantastic! So close to sea and good place for a nice long walk. Almost all rooms above ground floor have sea view or at least limited sea view. I did not pay extra for sea view but from my balcony ( 2nd floor) the view was absolutely astonishing. Hotel workers are very nice and polite. Receptionists very helpful. Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are a bit outdated but spacious and clean. I would say this hotel is 8/10 :)

Good value and very well located
Spent a week over New Year and had a very pleasant relaxing time. The hotel itself is in need of some TLC. The decor is dated. We were here 22 years ago and it hasn't changed at all. Despite that, it is clean and comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious with a longe area. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the bedding is of a good quality. The outdoor areas are plentiful and well looked after. As the hotel was full, there was a problem with guests reserving sunbeds from early morning. We decided on all inclusive because it was very good value. We had no intention of eating there everyday. Although we didn't have lunch there everyday, we ended up eating dinner every evening. Unless there was something very specific you wanted, the quality and choice were as good if not better than most local restaurants. My only issue was lack of choice for vegetarians. However, that's common in Spain. We didn't participate in the evening entertainment but it seemed varied. The location is excellent. Beach front and 5 mins from the airport. There are buses to other areas on the island and a cycle path from PDC to Arricife. The staff were friendly and efficient. I really have to praise the first aid guy at the pool. He patched me up after a bike accident. He did a fantastic job. Overall, an enjoyable stay

Shame, nice hotel but too many problems to return
I have thought long and hard about this review as although hotel itself is fine there were so many negatives it is first of 50 plus hotels been to in recent years I would not go back to. First the positives, nice big hotel, good amenities, nice staff, particularly housekeeping. Good size room , balcony, bathroom with rainfall walk in shower. Now the not so good news. Whilst it is a reasonable distance from airport (5 minute drive) it is right at end of resort, right next to incoming flight path. Very noisy jets start around 07.00 and continue past 22.00 coming in at rooftop height. When I went to pool in morning at times they were coming in every couple of minutes. Pool itself was a problem, hotel welcome pack advises cannot reserve chairs with towels etc. and that items would be removed, they were not. Every morning I was there it got worse with maybe 50% + 'reserved' before 09.00. I know multiple people complained including myself. I was just shown policy on welcome pack, when I explained I was happy with that but not that no enfoecement was done I got nowhere not even fobbed off with 'I will talk to manager' . On arrival Hotels.com review I reported my AC was very noisy compared to 20 or so other hotels I have stayed in this year. Nothing happened, No tea/coffee making, in room a first for a 4 star. My current 3 star in Barcelona at least has signs at reception/lifts of items provided free upon request, including kettle, adapters etc. I got both quickly.

Outdated hotel. In the day you can do things like the pool, sunbeds and go to the spa (although this is a paid extra). Wouldn’t recommend all inclusive food was awful - didn’t eat dinner for 2/3 of the nights as it was so bad. They also advertise 5 restaurants but this is a lie as only 2 were open during our time - one was open for one night and it was terrible. Entertainment is very poor in evening. Not worth the money. We also had stains in the bed on first night and there was no real urgency or apology from staff. They just sent up a spare sheet for us to replace.

Our room was a bit dated but spacious ad clean. The food was bland and average, which I can understand when they try to cater for such a wide variety of guest. We were just hoping for more local flavours. Staff was very friendly and the hotel`s location is great. Ideal for families and people looking for a quiet holiday.

This was our second time staying at Beatriz and we really enjoyed it. I'd advise asking for a refurbished room - it's worth it for the shower alone! The breakfast buffet is excellent and the spa treatments were fantastic! A particular mention for Amalina in reception for all her assistance 😀

A break from the weather
With restrictions being relaxed and the onset of cold weather,we just had to get away. Lovely Island and nice hotel Only really an hour walk to the far end of Puerto del Carmen beach and shopping centre The hotel Beatrix playa had enough to do and the surrounding bars were good Well relaxed!!

An okay hotel - just okay!
An okay hotel - just okay - but honestly don't think I would stay again. Aside from the fact a lot of facilities were closed, the condition of our room left a lot to be desired - railing hanging off in the bathroom, scrapes all over the walls, no spare pillows or sheets and air conditioning that was like a tractor when in use. Top off the fact that the WiFi didn't work and it left a lot to be desired.

We visited 2nd time this hotel, in Christmas Time pool is heating also in summer two from 3 are heating but it is not necessary. Food is good, fat cook mischievous but others nice, room we have superior and was ok but wall they can paint if is little mess, I think cleaning lady can do it. Very good location, to ocean after hotel fence, to town can walk, to shops 10 min. I think that only superior room have standard for 4* if u wanna be happy take superior, probably £100 more but worth.

Just ok....
Reasonable hotel, stayed for 3 nights in a new room paid 500 euros all-inclusive. Feel the value for money wasn't there. None of the complaints stems from COVID measures the hotel did a good job of implementing them and feeling safe. - Food, was very poor. Poor selection, unknown meats stated as beef and pork. We own restaurants and a family farm. No children's section, only chips which were always undercooked. - Drinks, cheap cheap spirits drank the gin the first day, ended up with a head ake, never touched it again. No option to upgrade was seen or offered. Pool - Plenty of room and space only 1/4 of the beds were ever used. Room - Just ok, paid for the upgrade happy we did, only one English channel, which as BBC news. Beds reasonable and comfortable, sheets very hard and Towles like sandpaper. Looking forward to a spa as the UK ones are closed, was closed Sunday & Monday so wasn't able to use it and it costs 12 euros for any resident. Location - Very far out from the main area about a 45 min walk along the beach, lovely place and close to the airport if you like plane spotting. Overall a just ok holiday for a few days away for a change, we would maybe go back but choose another hotel.
