Lovely villa in a great spot
Lyn was amazing any queries were sorted asap. The villa was amazing. The pool area was absolutely fantastic. The position of the villa was perfect within 10mins walk everthing was there restaurants shops bars you name it was close. Thank you 😊 we had a wonderful 2 weeks holiday

Description read Puerta Del Carmen. Property was in Los picollos, which was too far out for us. Also the villa sat up on a hill, all of our party struggled with this. The villa itself was big, plenty of room tho was pretty dated and in need of upgrading, some Tlc. Some crumbling plaster, sockets not working, hole in wardrobe door, ensuite door sticking, got locked in a few times, curtains hanging off upstairs lounge, which I noticed had been commented on before but never fixed. We cleaned bathrooms kitchen etc before using. Overall villa pretty tired looking. Outside space was fabulous, with a decent sized pool. We spent most of our holiday here. Im sorry but would not return to this villa. Host really good though with communication, couldnt fault her.

Family of 10
Wonderful 10 day family holiday. The villa had plenty of space for 10 of us and had everything we needed. Pool was amazing, kids (including the big ones) had a ball. Not too far from the local shops/restaurants/bars and a few mins walk from the beach. PDC 35 minute walk which we did several times as it was a lovely walk. Also buses every 20 mins. Excellent communication with Lynn. We highly recommend this property...my partner proposed at the villa so its a property/holiday we will never forget. Our only negative is that time went far too fast. We will definitely be back.

Amazing property and amazing location
The property was beautiful and very well equipped and the location was perfect for shops, buses and proximity to the airport. We all loved our stay and were very sad to leave! Would recommend to any group looking for somewhere nice to stay, close enough to everywhere with tourist attractions but with the authentic local feel.

Wonderful holiday
We had a lovely second visit to the villa. We had looked forward to returning since our last visit. The host Lynn is very accommodating and the management company are very responsive, we had an issue with the kettle and a new kettle was immediately provided within 30 minutes of being reported. The pool was maintained regularly throughout our stay. We had a wonderful holiday here and would like to return.

Third Time Lucky !
We were all very pleased with the villa after we had to cancel it twice due to the pandemic. the children loved the pool. It was spacious and well equipped. The only problem was that the z-bed was not made up when we arrived but luckily not all of our party arrived at the same time and it was rectified fairly quickly. We were very pleased with the management storing our luggage before our late flight home. Would certainly come again.

Another great stay
This is not the first time that we have rented this villa. It’s ideal for our family of 9 ranging from age 71 to 7. You can always find a quiet spot in the villa as there are various places to sit and rest. The pool area is fantastic, we paid extra for pool heating which was well worth it as there was always someone in the pool all day. It was so easy to book and nothing was too much trouble, Lynn even arranged taxi’s for us. I would recommend this villa

Wonderful Base to enjoy Lanzarote
Very clean, tidy Villa. We had a wonderful week, enjoyed the pool and it is very close to Rancho Texas and maybe a 15 minute walk to main strip. Very close to local shops, great beer in local Indian beside the spar 2 mins walk. 7 of us stayed , everyone would go back and we will :)

Villa Mar, Los Pocillos
Villa Mar is a large property and can easily sleep 8 people. As there are large windows on the first floor there are fantastic views all around. It has a very large patio with a clean swimming pool. It has an additional patio on the first floor which provides amazing views. We had a problem with a shower, but one call to Lyn and a new shower was installed the following day, amazing. Lyn also arranged a taxi to take us back to the airport, great service.

Great to getaway
We had a fantastic time, pool very good, cleaned regularly and temperature was ok. Villa a little tired in places but acceptable. We had one or too little bits to feedback on which I have done privately and the owner was very quick to respond and grateful for the feedback. Overall, we had a good time.

Home away from home
We booked this Villa as a last minute break when the air bridges opened. I have to say the communication form start to finish was excellent even down to Lynn messaging us on the last day asking if we needed a taxi. The Villa it self was huge with 3 older kids and an infant there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The outside area was really big with a lovely pool. The location was perfect for us we love both PDC and Matagorda and this is ideally located for both. We had a lovely relaxing family break at this lovely villa and will definitely be returning again.

Perfect family and surprise holiday
A perfect holiday even with the sand storm for 2 days. Pool was cleaned while we was here which was great after the sand storm. Location was great nice and quite at night and only a short distance from the beach front.

Our family had a lovely stay at the villa the children loved the heated pool the villa was very spacious and very clean it could do with a little updating but all in all it was perfect for our family of 11 the management couldn’t do enough for you they even let us stay in the villa on our last day as we had a late flight which was very generous of them would definitely stay again

A bit rough round the edges but overall we've had a wonderful time, villa comfy and equipped with everything we needed ( we travelled as family including our 3 children 2,3 and 6). Shout out the maintenance team - woke Christmas Morning to no water (no fault to the owners at all) called the out of hours number at 7am by 7.30am all was sorted! The location was perfect a short walk from the front with shops, restaurants, car hire - everything! Would we book again - most definitely!

Villa Mar

Villa grand a bit hard being 70plus up and down stairs for food and a bit of a steep hills

Fantastic location
The location of the villa was fantastic, 5 mins to the beach and 20 mins to either Matagorda or Purto del carman , plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, for the price of the villa excellent value and Lyn was easy to deal with, the villa is looking a little shabby, if updated Lyn could easily charge an extra £500 a week, i would definitely stop again, main draw back was the flip/flop man ( well thats what we called him), every night at 8, 10 and again 2 in the morning he would run up and down his drive flip flopping away and when its hot with the windows open very annoying.

Lovely property great size
We really enjoyed our stay at the villa it is in a lovely position very near to the beach etc. the management staff were very helpful bringing us extra sunbeds etc as there was 10 of us in the villa and even though there were so many of us there was still plenty of room for us all

Great location and value for money.
We stayed at the villa for Xmas and were very comfortable. The location was ideal; it is a very short walk to nearby beach and shops of Los Pocillos. Puerto Del Carmen is also a nice but longer stroll along the sea front. The villa has everything you need but is in need of some tlc and updating. We had problems with electricity and satellite but did not have to wait long, the team were on it and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had all we needed. Villa Mar is perfect for larger family and very good value.

Excellent value for money
The villa has everything you require for a lovely holiday. It was clean and plenty of towels for our group of 9. The pool was well maintained. Nice quiet area. We really enjoyed our stay. If getting a taxi home ask to go to Calle Erizo which is the street the villa is on. The only two things I would do to improve the villa is put a table out on the upstairs balcony as that is where we had our morning tea. And get the WiFi to work at the table beside the pool. These are not faults, just my opinion.I could not fault the villa it’s excellent value for money. Down at the Costa Luz shopping centre there is an Irish Pub Ned Kelly’s excellent Pub. La Avenida has the best breakfast and it’s so cheap. Would highly recommend this villa.Thanks for a great stay. The cleaners did a get job too.

Lots of room, great location!
6 of us stayed here for 11 nights. The villa is spacious and well-furnished. It has a superb location in the Los Pocillos area of Puerto Del Carmen. Bars & supermarkets are within a few minutes' walk and the villa is also well-placed for buses into the centre of PDC and taxis on the main road are remarkably abundant. Those of you travelling with elderly relatives might want to bear in mind that the return to the villa is uphill, though it's not a lengthy walk. The pool is clean and was visited by a cleaner most days - possibly every day (he came early and I wasn't always up to see him!). The pool area and terrace are fantastic suntraps. There is a gas barbecue by the pool area however, we didn't quite get around to using that! As others have said the decor could do with a lick of paint here and there and a few doors were stiff but nothing to cause any concern. We had one maintenance issue - in the master bedroom en suite a bathroom tap wouldn't shut off and then sheared off when we tried to close it. However, we called the service number given who sent someone over within minutes who helped us shut down the water. In less than two hours there was a brand new tap fitting in place which is pretty good service whichever way you look at it. In my opinion the villa represented excellent value for money and I would be happy to return and recommend it.

Fantastic location!! Great value and exceptional service
We have had a very positive experience with the management of this wonderful house. Having had to relocate last minute from our original villa for the month of July, Villa Mar was available having just finished reforming their pool . We were delighted with the property as its situation as it is just beside the beach ,promanade and commercial centre . And excellent value for money. I can vouch fully for the team. Shocking state of disrepair! To be avoided at all costs!
Having complained to owner and management company, they drained the filthy pool and put a table and chairs in outside. The inside was filthy, very run down and certainly not been managed! The bedding was threadbare and the rooms my grandchildren had to sleep in were more like cells than bedrooms! It’s not like they didn’t know we were coming, we booked Villa Mar in Puerto Del Carmen back in August!!! Having moved out, and complained to the owner, she then organised the so called clean up, but they would have had to have a complete refit before it was deemed a clean, family holiday villa! We asked for our money back for obvious reasons... still waiting for a response! We were advised that the management company should have asked for passport details for everyone over 16 as it was a legal requirement by La Guardia Civil ...still waiting! This villa should be advertised as more of a hostel for passing through rather than somewhere to stay for a family holiday! This place is a disgrace, as is the owner and the people she pays to manage the property... They completely ruined our holiday and if it wasn’t for the kindness of others... well I don’t know what we would have done! Shame on you!

Just the Villa for our trip for the bike group
We hired the villa for a bike holiday, it did the job for what we wanted. Close to the shops, beach and places to eat. Yes it is in need of a bit TLC, everything worked, plenty of towels, plenty of bed linen and we had the use of the garage for the storage of the bikes which was a great help,

Dirty and in need of Refurbishment
Really enjoyed Lanzarote but very disappointed with the accommodation. We had to buy cleaning materials and spent our first afternoon cleaning bathrooms and the kitchen. Thankfully the dishwasher worked as we had to wash all the crockery and cutlery. The kitchen units were covered in grease, both inside and out, curtains badly hung off the curtain rails and falling off in places. Draughts around windows, water leaking in through roof in upstairs living room, this was not new as you could see the marks on the wall. The bath in the en suite has been painted at some stage but half of it has come away and the bath looks worse now than it would have done if it hadn't been painted in the first place. The window above the bath is in bad repair and some of the tiles are broken. The make up mirror in en suite bathroom is mounted far to high on the wall so that a woman of average height can't use it to put on makeup or do their hair. Socket in master bedroom nearest the wall mirror isn't working. The general state of maintenance was poor, lights not working, door handles held on with one screw, marks on walls not taken care of. In conclusion there was no contact made by the Owner or their Agents, no comments book (I wonder why) the property needs time effort and investment to make it an acceptable rental property.

Fabulous location; easy to find; simple & smooth check-in process
We booked the villa for a family birthday celebration/holiday & it suited us very well. The location is superb with easy walking access to the beach and resort. The area is very quiet although there was some noise on a couple of occasions from immediate neighbours who seem to like moving furniture around late at night (we never saw them to comment). The agency were very helpful when I contacted them (for the correct wifi code and for additional bedding) The accommodation is pretty much as described but could use some tlc in places. Having plenty of towels was a welcome bonus but the lack of even basic cleaning materials was disappointing, as was the lack of basics in the kitchen (salt, pepper, oil etc) The space is very good for a group holiday but the two inner rooms with bunk beds wouldn't suit everyone. The wifi was good but only worked in certain areas, mainly around the dining table. Overall this was a good property to rent and we had a lovely holiday.

Great family holiday!
Villa Mar is in a great location. Set well back from roads. Close to beach and walking distance to shops,restaurants and pubs. Puerto del Carmen is just a short taxi ride away. Taxis arrive very quick and are very cheap (4 euro to middle of strip). The villa itself was very clean and ready early for us as we had an early flight. The fridge wasn't working on arrival but within a couple of hours the maintenence man had come and had a look and then brought a replacement fridge freezer. Such a speedy response. Pool was lovely and clean and cleaned mid week. Also a great size for a family (there were 7 adults and 2 children in our party) Some of the rooms are a little dated but who spends time inside on holiday! All very clean though and spacious.We asked for extra fans as there were 9 of us which Lyn provided straight away. Cannot fault customer service. From booking to any queries whilst on holiday Lyn always replied quickly, even allowing us to stay longer in villa on last day as we had an evening flight.

We said a letter of complaint about this property complete with photographs and owners direct forwarded to the owner on 22nd August. They haven't bothered replying. It has been noted that I have been given a poor guest rating simply for making polite complaints backed up with photos. If you stay here and make a complaint they do not apology or even discuss it with you they just give you a poor guest rating. I would not recommend this property to anyone. On arrival I rang the telephone number given several times on Sunday afternoon and nobody answered until the next day. The blind in the bedroom had fallen off and not replaced,the sun beds were broken and tatty, the wifi code was incorrect, one bed did not have a pillow and the gas BBQ didn't have enough gas. I am surprised that these issues aren't checked on changeover day.The blind wasn't fixed for 4 days. The swimming pool was frequently filthy as the water wasn't pumping around sufficiently. The children all came up in rashes when using the pool but whenever we raised this issue we were dismissed. They office and pool man cited our suncream and our English skin. All the children have had holidays in the canaries and France and never had this sort of problem.I have also asked for a record of the readings of the chemicals in the pool and sent the owners photos but we've received no comment or readings from them. My daughter received a nasty gash from nails sticking out of the banisters. Again I've sent photos and not received a comment or an apology. I rang to tell the office the washing machine door wasn't closing properly. We went home 5 days later and nobody had fixed it. The 2 twin rooms were extremely stuffy. Neither room has a window that opens to the outside, they just open to the hall way. This means there is an inadequate escape route and as the property doesn't have a smoke alarm I did find this very worrying. The property has 2 fans we could have used in the twin rooms but one was filthy. The main bathroom window is sealed shut and only opens out to the annex living rooom and not outside. The room also does not have a fan and because the shower is designed as a wet room it takes 12-14 hours for the floor to dry out making it very dangerous for children to use. My 10 year old slipped over a number of times.I have shown friends photos of the condition of the pool and the windows and they have been horrified.

Fantastic villa great value and fabulous pool
We have just had the most wonderful time staying in Villa Mar. We were amazed that the villa was so close to the beach and strip for the price we paid . It is a fantastic holiday base for any large group. The pool is beautiful and well kept . Pool man called most days to check . We ordered a welcome pack which is advisable to get you started . The management company are just located at the bottom of the hill and could not do enough for us. They were so friendly and helpfull Arranging taxis , tours, and even got us a hire care at a great price. They also have baggage storage facilities and showers which we had to use on last day as there was an arrival just after us. Thank you so much to all the team!! We are already organising next year!!

plenty of space for everyone particularly the pool area
Location brilliant five minutes from shops and bus stops, short walk to puorto del Carmen, short taxi ride to rancho texas and airport. Pool area was great loads of room, good size pool, plenty of space inside the villla for everyone (my group was 5 adults, two children and a baby). A request to the owner was very quickly responded to. I will quite happily book this villa again next year if circumstances allow, if not then definatly the following year. Thank you Lyn.

Villamar good place for holydais
Villamar is an excellent home to spend a vacation and host a large number of guests ... the kitchen should be renovated, and the pergola on the terrace be more spacious to protect more from the sun. But overall, the house is excellent, close to everything, and away from it all.

Tolle Villa mit Pool
Die Villa ist sehr geräumig. Sie ist prakrisch eingerichtet. Die Kinder und auch wir Eltern genossen den Pool. Leider war die Villa nicht wirklich gut geputzt worden. Der Kontakt zu Lyn ist sehr gut. Sie antwortet sehr rasch und sucht nach schnellen Lösungen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte für uns.

Schöne Terrasse mit Pool. Zum Teil für 12 Personen knapp ausgerüstet. Aber insgesamt zweckmässig.
Lage ist gut und Nahe von Einkaufmöglichkeiten. Die Terrasse ist sehr schön. Die Einrichtung ist zum Teil etwas knapp für 12 Personen (Pfannen, Löffel, Tisch) und nur zum Teil funktionstüchtig (Schalter Kochherd, WC-Spühlung, Steckdosen), aber für Ferien insgesamt zweckmässig.
