Staff was VERY helpful. Nice lady that checked us in even offered to help us carry luggage upstairs because there is no elevator. She also suggested an excellent restaurant. Please check on the fridge in room 207 and tighten faucet handle. Thank you.

They had no plunger I hadt to make one with my arm and rag. They bever came to our room to fix thr toilet. They said they couldn'tfind one. Plus they charged us for smoking and no one in our family smokes. So this is a lie or mistake from the house keeper

Our maintenance team did their best to find a replacement part, but unfortunately were unable to locate one in a timely manner. We understand that you're saying that no one in your family smokes, but unfortunately, we have to take our non-smoking policy very seriously for the comfort and safety of all our guests. I was attempting to cross over Raton Pass to go to Colorado in a snow storm, and got trapped when blowing snow forced the closing of the interstate highway 50 miles out of Las Vegas NM. There are very few motels/hotels within 100 miles of this area. I easily booked a room. On arrival the staff were very friendly and even helped me, and my stranded companions, find current road conditions. The property is dog and child friendly (you might be greeted by either one, which personally I love). It is not the Waldorf-Astoria, but the price is not either. If you want to stay in a place where people care, and want to help you, this is a great place. They even agreed to hold my room until noon, to give me a chance to see if I got over Raton Pass (which luckily I did!). Overall 5 stars for me!

Great hotel
We had to stop because a snowstorm closed the highway. There were many hotels in town, but they were all getting booked quickly. We chose the Days Inn because it was so clean and the rate was reasonable. The pool and hot tub were great.

WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN
I have to say that the only positive about this hotel is the person at the front desk (Liz). She was very helpful and nice. The room was ok enough but there are SO MANY DOGS!!! You could hear them barking all night long! And they would run down the hallway. We didn't get much sleep at all. And people going in and out of the door at all hours taking dogs for a walk. But the barking - nonstop!!! We will never ever stay here again. And funny thing is they don't allow cats - seriously?

This place has a house dog and it was barking at times. The light above the sink did not work and the heater made a great deal of noise. Bed was comfortable and shower was warm with good force.

Wouldn’t stay
The initial room assigned to us did not lock so we requested another one. Room was dirty, sheets were stained and the bathroom only had one bath towel. Will probably not stay at a Days inn again.

We were in a room directly across the hall from a door marked "Private." There was constant in and out of that doors with a very loud slam. There was no effort to keep the door from slamming. At one point a man came out into the hall to carry on a phone conversation--loudly. A woman and small child were in and out of the door and carried on a loud conversation. This went on until just before 10. That seems pretty late to allow that kind of noise. I'm 80 years old and had just driven all day and just wanted to get some rest. Not possible with that amount of noise.
