Pre-arrival grocery service. 100 m long steep motor access to the house. Grocery 800 m, restaurant 500 m, bakery 800 m, 10 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.8 km, railway station "Wengen" 800 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 800 m, children's playground 500 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen - 14min. path.
    "Silence Apt. H", 1-room studio on the ground floor. Bright, comfortable and cosy furnishings: large living/sleeping room with 1 double sofabed (160 cm, length 200 cm), cable TV and radio. Exit to the patio. Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra). Bath/WC. Large patio. Terrace furniture. Marvellous panoramic view of the mountains and the valley. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Perfection!

I was traveling on a solo trip and this was the perfect place. There couldn't have been a better view, words can't describe it! When I return one day I will definitely stay at Chalet Silence again. Much Love!!! Thanks again for your beautiful property.

An extremely comfortable apartment for 2 with excellent cooking facilities. The stand-out is the view, which is spectacular. Be prepared for a steep walk at the start of every day, but if you are fit and here to hike, you will love it.

Views stunning but needs attention

View from apartment stunning. It has all equipment you need but shame the sofa bed was so uncomfortable. Also arrived to find a large stain on the floor which was unsightly. Strange shower curtain made it difficult to get into bath or shower but water pressure good. Will come back to Wengen but not the apartment.

Badkamer is bijna onmogelijk om zonder valgevaar te kunnen douchen in het bad met de wand die op het bad is gemonteerd. Voor wat ouderen en kinderen zeer gevaarlijk en bijna niet te doen. De stok om het zonnescherm omlaag te draaien was er niet. Volgens de buren was dit zeer vaak het geval.

Prima plek, ruime badkamer en goede voorzieningen in de keuken. Prachtig uitzicht! De bedbank vonden wij echt minder; deze is aan vervanging toe !
