"There truly aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Giacomo and his place are. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel so welcome. "This is an older grand hotel which sits directly overlooking the Gulf of Naples. It's within an easy and mostly flat walk to the stores and restaurants of Sorrento. The rooms were comfortable but tight and the bathroom was a decent size for Italy. The glass partition in the tub, which was supposed to prevent water from going out onto the floor, had a loose-fitting seal at the bottom so the water ran down the glass and onto the floor when you took a shower. The air conditioning worked well and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet, which is included, had a very large selection of delicious items. It also had a pool area and restaurant for lunch with outdoor seating. None of them were crowded during our visit last week."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Location was perfect for us because it was out of the main touristy hustle and bustle. Bus stop right across the hotel for easy transport into town. Comfiest bed ever with premium duvet and feather pillows. Views were exceptional even with no balcony. It was such a romantic hotel! Great amenities (even with end of season). Friendly staff. Amazing breakfast and breakfast terrace. Can walk to restaurants that are more affordable up the hill. If you go down they get more pricier. Will definitely recommend to anyone going to Positano. It was lovely and very memorable."

"This hotel is about 20 minutes away from downtown Sorrento so you have to make sure it's where you want to stay. It is quite isolated from other places and doesn't have too many places within walking distance. They do have a shuttle schedule to get to Sorrento, which drops you about a 10-12 minute walk away from the main downtown area. So figure @30 minutes each way to downtown Sorrento. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a great breakfast, and a beautiful view. The rooms were decent and not a bad size. We had to take a taxi back to the hotel one day from Sorrento and it cost us 56 Euros, which we thought was very excessive. So if you do not have a car, you're totally reliant on the shuttle."

"Loved the property and the staff. Breakfast was delicious, the staff were outstanding. The views were amazing. The staff helped me book transfers. It was about an hour drive from Naples . Keep in mind the hotel is located up windy, steep hills about Sorrento, NA. A busy road is right in front of the hotel, which can be loud, but the views are amazing. It is about 1/2 drive (transfers provided) down to Sorrento. We tried to do the Amalfi Coast 8 hr tour but my husband go motion sickness with in the first 1/2 hr so prepare for that. There is an outstanding restaurant within a 5 minute walk, and we love Sorrento. We went into town for 2 day and there was more then enough to see and do. The only complaint we had, was that our bed was extremely hard. We thought it was an Italy "thing" . Would highly recommend the hotel."
