"It is an amazing hotel, beautiful and elegant, very clean and comfortable. Very well preserved and with a lot of history. It is common in the historical hotels keep the common areas amazing, but rooms are not updated. This hotel is clean and updated everywhere. People are very friendly, and service is great. I would say that food was overpriced, and quality was ok but not for this price range. The best food we had was in 1796 restaurant-steak was very good, however, breakfast buffet and tea ceremony did not impress... Food was on the heavy side and just not impressive. Otherwise, the hotel is amazing."

Sharing this experience with my 3 teenage kids, I never heard once that they didn’t have anything to do. They loved it here and the amenities were everything we needed! "
