Huge perk is the access (beach or otherwise) to their sister property on the water - Belmond Saint Andrea - they treat you as if your one of theirs. "La Plage has magnificent views of the sea and the iconic Isola Bella. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive. Be aware that the beach is rocky and hard to walk on and it’s difficult to enter and exit the sea for a swim. It’s easy to get up to Taormina via the funivia (cable car) for a 10€ round trip. "
