"Was disappointed at first..picked this property because wanted a balcony and hot tub. Was expecting 4th floor king suite and got 2nd floor and looked out over the roof of the pool area. Then pool was closed for maintenance. The desk clerk was wonderful and gave me a partial refund which I was impressed..so cudos to her for wonderful customer service!"

"This is an older place with a nautical theme throughout. We enjoy looking for non-chain hotels with their own unique touches, and this did not disappoint. Our room was comfortable and included a bottle of wine & a s'more making kit. There was a fire pit area where we could toast our marshmallows and visit with other guests. Everything is definitely older, but in good condition. There is a mini-golf area and other things that are family friendly. In addition, there is an excellent breakfast place across the street (Otis Cafe) - bring your appetite! It also sells homemade pies & other baked goods. We also found a tasty seafood place (Mo's) on the water not far away. If you don't mind an older place, or if you enjoy funky, interesting places to stay, we highly recommend it!"

"We had a wonderful stay in an ocean view room with the regular amenities and comfortable beds. We appreciated the carpeting and the commodious space. There was good access via a ramp to a great beach. The game room was nice. Check-in was a real pleasure because of an outstandingly friendly and helpful staff member. The adjacent restaurant offered an ocean view , good service, and some great and some not so good entre choices (pasta was a watery mess). But that was the only negative. We will be back."

"Hotel is quite a way from the beach. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. I liked the layout of the family room that included a separate room with twin beds, but there was no A/C in there and the fan didn't cool the extra room down much. The bathroom was spacious, but the shower curtain did not stay closed. It could use some updates. We didn't use the pool because it is in a separate building across the parking lot and we chose not to go out in the rain to get to the pool and back. The breakfast buffet had few options and no pancakes or waffles."
