"Clean, nice staff and quiet location"

"Stopped here for the rail connection to the Nightmare Before Christmas event at Arley Hall. Would recommend to anyone travelling to the event as a good location. Staff very polite, easy check in and lovely room. Recommend booking a table to eat in the pub as the food is good and they can fill up quickly."

"Perfect stay. Clean rooms, helpful staff and just the perfect stay"

"Friendly staff, large rooms and good pricing."

"Buzz gave us a very warm welcome!"

"Fantastic property! Very accommodating and great service, highly recommend. Great breakfast as well."

"Excellent all around"

"Wow, fantastic hotel . They have turned an iconic old bank into a fantastic boutique hotel , great location, parking on site , fabulous room with high quality bedding . Will definitely stay again , lovely staff"

"A very pleasant quiet hotel with comfortable room and a very good breakfast and service."

"Great hotel"

"Lovely place to stay, temperature can be controlled in the room and bathroom which was great as the weather was freezing. Rooms are lovely, thought has gone into them. Food isn’t cheap if you dine there, but it was tasty."

"We had an okay stay, think the rooms could do with having better heating facilities and perhaps breakfast to be included in the price but all in all, it was ok."

"I cannot say enough about the food, service and hospitality shown by all staff after staying here for 3 nights. The food both at breakfast and dinner was perfect; the location to other towns in the vicinity is second to non. Highly recommended"

"Excellent in every way - particularly the friendly ness and helpfulness of the staff. A thoroughly great place to stay if you are in the area."

"Great food, staff and bed was very comfortable"

"A delightful inn and restaurant. Lovely staff, comfortable rooms, the staff go out of their way to make you comfortable."

"Great location, good breakfast too!"

"Wonderful stay thank you "

"Truly wonderful staff, great food, lovely overall ambience. Our mattress was very hard and the bed frame creaked badly which led to disturbed sleep. Breakfast was very good and the bar area and restaurant are lovely places to spend time in."

"This is an old building and holds lots of conferences, weddings and travellers from Manchester airport- the car park is large and very full. We stayed in a huge ground floor room. A bit tired, but bed very comfortable and room was warm with good curtains to black out. I would say it's a character property with history, but a bit tired. It says it is Knutsford, but actually in Mere in the countryside, but handy for exploring the area."
