Sofitel baru ia a true oasis, you arrive by boat and there are no other resorts - nothing but jungle for miles. We felt like we were on White Lotus lol. The staff is unmatched , attentive & sweet. The resort itself never felt crowded , we would see maybe 4 others groups during the day . Always had loungers at beach or pool. The grounds & the room were to die for , the height of luxury . The breakfast in the morning had different offerings each morning to go along with some of the morning breakfast food staples.

Staff was accommodating and greeted patrons with a smile.
I didn’t like the guest policy as they did not allow outside guests to go into certain areas of the hotel, mainly the rooms.
