Secluded Cottage on 2 acres near Galway sleeps 5

Secluded Cottage on 2 acres near Galway sleeps 5

10/10 Excellent
"This place is great — tucked away in a beautiful spot, green all around, and close to so many things! The cottage is cozy with everything you need. We stayed for 2 weeks and had a lovely time. Ten minutes from a nice grocery store, lots of day trips on the area, and in a pretty spot itself. Highly recommend!"

"What a gem! So happy I came across this absolutely amazing property! Filled with history, this beautiful house is a wonderful journey in time. Joyce has captured a peace of historic paradise for all who are lucky enough to visit. I changed my plans and stayed an additional night. Aiden is a fantastic human being filled with knowledge of all things Irish. He is a definite “goto” for help planning your experiences. Thank you both so much for your kind hospitality. Until we meet again! Cheers from Canada! 🇨🇦 🇮🇪"

Family & Pet Friendly Restored Cottage in East Mayo with 4* Bord Failte Award

Family & Pet Friendly Restored Cottage in East Mayo with 4* Bord Failte Award

10/10 Excellent
"A magical stay near Bracklagh — perfect for familiese had an excellent stay at Tigh Mhic in Bracklagh with our two boys, and it’s easy to see why this spot is so special. The quaint country road leading to the cottage set the tone right away, and we were delighted to find Shetland ponies and surrounding farms just outside — a real treat for our kids. A local cat took a liking to us during our stay, and it became one of those small, unexpected moments the boys still talk about. One of our favorite surprises was the hidden bar in the cottage — such a unique and special touch that made the stay feel even more memorable. The location was ideal for us, as it’s close to family in Cloonfad, making it easy to combine a relaxing cottage stay with visits nearby. The host was incredibly kind and went out of their way to help us find the house, which we really appreciated. We’d happily stay at Tigh Mhic again and recommend it to any family looking for a peaceful, scenic base in this part of Ireland."

10/10 Excellent
"Lodge idéal pour des pêcheurs, avec l'assistance éclairée et sympathique de Jim qui assure les conseils et aussi le guidage.La pêche sur les grands lacs reste difficile mais dans un cadre magnifique.Le lodge est propre spacieux et fonctionnel.Une seule remarque, le frigo est trop petit pour un séjour long et des bons mangeurs..."
