"Clean room comfortable "

"Lovely old cottage and we had a great time. There are a few things guests should be aware of. We didn't realise the opening to the bedroom upstairs was only 4 feet 2 height until after booking. We managed but others might not especially if you need to get up in the night- bathroom is downstairs. As 2 guests have to sleep in the annexe 2 keys to the main front door should be provided rather than having to wait for people in main house to get up. Annexe needs a WiFi booster. Plus a small welcome pack would have been nice. Apart from that we had a lovely holiday and visited some great places. Cottage was warm and comfortable and had a nice back garden where we saw lots of stars and the Northern lights!"

"Clean and well-equipped with all amenities. Very comfortable and quiet. A nice south-facing patio area to enjoy the warm sun. Near enough to the nearest town to make shopping easy but very much a rural spot with some narrow country roads to navigate. Perfect location for us as birdwatchers, being not far from Minsmere but good for the coast too."

"We absolutely love the set-up of Lantern & Larks and have stayed on 3 different sites. The Sweffling site is a favourite as the location is so close to the coast and the lovely towns of Southwold & Aldeburgh. Nothing is too much trouble for Andrew who lives on the farm onsite and is always available. We travel as a large family group (plus dog) and book 3 properties on the site, the kids are free to roam and the tents are well equipped for everything you need. There's a decent shower and separate loo, a lovely woodburner for the chilly evenings - with a plentiful supply of logs you can get from the log store (included). There's a gas hob for cooking/making a cup of tea, but also an open fire outside that you can BBQ on (bring your own charcoal, or can purchase in the shop). The beds are comfy & cosy too. The honesty shop is well equipped, you can plug your charging banks in to recharge, but they also provide rechargeable lanterns, plus frozen 'hot' water bottles which you can use to chill the cool boxes (x2) that are provided in the tents.
