1) Overall the cleanliness was well kept and pretty much clean; only reason I deducted points was because I found a used bandaid on the floor upon entering by the bathroom. That should be an easy fix but still, no one wants to see that upon entering hotel room. 2) Staff was very kind and informative- I was only there for a couple days and they informed me of nearby walkable touristy areas. 3) The area itself is pretty quiet but the walls are thin and I could hear every movement and sound the next room over was making. 4) Overall, the hotel price is great for quiet and safety. Mid range for touristy attractions.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. My opinion of the staff is mixed; some were cordial, whilst others were inattentive, dismissive and rude. I stayed for five nights and experienced a number of problems. One, the Wi-Fi/internet did not function correctly. Although I was able to connect to the network, any browser windows I opened would return a "no connection" error. I reported this to the front desk, and they suggested that I was likely out of range of the Wi-Fi signal. However, as already stated, signal strength was not the issue; I was able to connect to their network. The issue was the internet connection itself. I recommended that the staff reset the modem and router, but it is unclear whether they made any attempt to follow through on this request. I also had issues with the fitness center. The facility's treadmill is nonoperational. I did not try the other equipment, but I did note its condition. Everything is extremely dated, and I would not be surprised if other machines in the gym were also malfunctioning. My biggest complaint was the noise. I was on the third floor in a room that faced the parking lot. Each night, there was constant noise from neighboring rooms, as well as from the parking lot and street. Perhaps due to differences in time zones, the neighboring guests were up at 4am each morning and engaged in conversation at loud volumes; it was highly disruptive. I cannot recommend this hotel less. Stay elsewhere.

As per our conversation, We offered to move you multiple times through out your stay. You threatening the front desk staff is something that I can not and will not be tolerating. Your rudeness and aggression toward the staff here is unacceptable behavior.

This property includes interior and exterior rooms. I requested an interior room and was upgraded to the third floor because I do have a Best Western Rewards membership (it just doesn't count when you booth through Expedia). That room was lovely, very comfortable and clean, and modern. One of the best BWs I've been in for a long time. The buffet breakfast is ok with a fair selection, but nothing terribly special. The 24/7 coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the lobby was a nice touch. Short walk to shopping, beach, and lots of restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Best Western. It was a safe area, clean hotel and they provided an excellent free continental breakfast. A short 10 minute walk from the ocean. Would book here again.

My stay at Redondo Beach hotel was great. The facilities were clean and breakfast was good. My only beef is that they said they do not charge a deposit but when we got there we had to pay a fee. Next time be upfront. They blamed it on Expedia but actually they should update their business.

Rooms of good size with enough storage to stow suitcases out of the way. Includes refrigerator and microwave, a small sitting area with small table and chairs to eat a snack or bring breakfast back to your room. Rooms also have a desk. We found it comfortable and convenient for a multi-night stay. Water pressure in the shower leaves something to be desired.

Room was spacious and very clean. Had a large king bed and roomy bathroom. Very nice coffee machine in lobby. Didn’t get to enjoy the breakfast because it didn’t work with our schedule. Front desk man could’ve been friendlier at check in. He hardly said an word and didn’t greet us or offer any information about amenities. Lots of dining options nearby and walking distance to beach and pier.

12th Anniversary Trip
Arriving at the hotel early evening, you can see that the neighborhood is clean and that the area is very walkable. I was greeted by friendly front desk staff that offered information about area events and establishments. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I used the jacuzzi and it was hot and serene. My stay was A+, and I would absoluely stay there again.

Clean, spacious and quiet. There is a parking space just in front of the building which is so convenient. The room was big enough to accommodate my families (two adults and two boys). The only thing i didnt like was that the shower is not that strong.

When checking in the clerk put me in a room across the parking lot and way in the back. I asked to be closer to the front desk because i was traveling alone. Her response to me was “nothing goes on here, you’ll be fine” I’m a local to the city and am aware what goes on and what doesn’t but that clearly wasn’t my point. She said she had to charge me $15 extra a night to move me closer. Ridiculous. Hotel is run down and needs to be updated. I wish had taken pictures. Towels are old and shower curtain was torn at the top. The dresser had folded paper under the two front legs for it to balance. The last two nights.. there was a sign in the elevator (3rd floor only) that it was out of order. Front desk clerk said that it wasn’t and was ok to use. I had to extend my stay and they made me check out and create a new reservation which they charged me TWICE FOR!! Night clerk was friendly but day clerks definitely need better customer service. Rooms are way overpriced for the condition they are in.
