I stayed here with my 2 children. Rooms were clean. Staff was very friendly. Location is great and within walking distance of stores and restaurants. Love that they have free parking. We enjoyed our stay. The only recommendation I have is that furniture needs some Tlc and freezer wasn’t working well in my room.

Everything in the room was clean and in order. The bed was so comfortable. The room air conditioner was working well. Xavier from the stuff was very kind and helpful when we needed, also very funny and entertaining to talk to. It was easy to make the check in and the check out.

This is a cute little motor lodge with separate bungalows. We greatly enjoyed our stay, not expecting anything fancy but someplace that was quiet and easy to access. The bathrooms weren't nicely renovated and I would consider it one of the better hotel showers. There were three downsides, but they were not significant. The carports are tiny. It is not possible for the driver and passenger to both get out of the vehicle if you use them. Thankfully our car was relatively small. If you drove a large truck, I would not recommend even trying to park it here. The bed was on the firm side. It wasn't a problem for us for two nights. Lastly, the air conditioner was quite loud. I would gladly take a noisy AC on a hot day, though.

The Hotel wasn't not as clean and not as is in the Expedia website.the parking lot was very small and it has a smell of old and moldy.this hotel needs to be improved alot to be in a good website. Front employee was polite.

Convenient location, clean room, comfortable beds. All the basics are covered well. Groceries, food joints within walking distance, parking spaces provided. Xavier was very helpful and fun to talk to. Needed to keep an eye on time, as there is no late check-in.

Staff were friendly and attentive and the check in/out was really easy. Parking was safe/gated. Breakfast was either a muffin or packaged oatmeal, but the hotel was walking distance to really good food of all kinds. We walked to and from Universal studios and Xavier even gave us a printed map to walk there from the hotel. There IS a free shuttle for part of the way (the steep part). We would stay here again.

I highly recommend staying at El Royale. The rooms are very clean and the beds are wonderful. The staff is amazing and they are very kind and make you feel welcome. Definitely will be staying there again.

Fun quirky little space. Great proximity to a lot of awesome things. The handyman on properties particularly amusing. Had some issues with our shower, though, and the blinds in the room don’t close completely to block the enormous amount of light in the courtyard and drive space at night. Lost some of it’s gripping power over the years. Had to tape our blinds shut to sleep.
