Our flight was delayed and by the time we arrived at the airport there was no shuttle, so we had to rent a car to drive 10 minutes. We didn’t get into the hotel till 3am and at 7 am there were workers working outside our room making so much noise. We only got 3 hours of sleep. Extremely disappointed in this hotel

we have stayed here last year in the fall and our stay was excellent! It n our stay last week We were unaware the property was under major renovations where half the hotel was closed. We were at the room closest to the renovations and virtually next door room was under construction. We were wakened at 8am every morning including Sunday with drilling and pounding noises. And unable to go back to sleep. After the 2nd morning I spoke to the mgr “Renee” and he offered to move our room, I declined as we were all unpacked. He then offered 1nite free, of 5 nights but I would need to call Expedia later for the refund. I asked for free parking as that would equate to the same dollar amounts and the hotel would still get their monies for our stay. He readily agreed. So everyone was satisfied. Renee handled the situation very professionally and easy and turned a unpleasant situation into a positive ending for all. Hopefully with the major renovations they will change the pillows also as they were well worn. Breakfast is included and free happy hour drinks make all embassy hotels a nice start and end to the day! This property is very well kept and will recommend!
