"Very nice hotel. Comfortable and good location."

"The room was spacious with a large shower. The carpet was threadbare and the bed was extremely hard. I discovered that the restaurant prices were excessive, £23 for fish and chips, £37 for an 8oz RUMP steak! A five minute drive took me to the Badger Box, extensive menu, great prices, £13 8oz Sirloin Steak, happy days. "

"We had a superior room no glasses at all no bottled water no bin liners only two tea bags on complementary tray, bar was fine, breakfast was a mess not tided up & v salty restaurant staff uncommunicative as was the check out receptionist we would not choose to stay here again."

"Dreadful place, grubby, noisey, nowhere to eat, you have to walk into the village and take our a mortgage, breakfast is Ok Lady on reception was lovely, but thats as far as it goes, nothing in the "gym" was working, place was hard to find and a real disappointment, definitely not a country hotel it is a doss house "

"Hotel is central & ideally located for the train or bus station. Friendly staff & the room was clean. Lots of quality options at breakfast & in the bar restaurant. "

"The hotel is great, just think the bar is understaffed and slow service. The hotel would benefit from an experienced bar staff. That said the staff are pleasant they just lack the bar training and experience. "
