"Overall, the hotel is good in terms of facilities and location. However, on the second day of my stay, there was no hot water. A staff member came to the room and said it was not a problem because the water was not cold. But the hot water did not come back until we checked out, so my family had to take showers with unheated water (not exactly cold, but with no warmth at all)."

"Great hotel. Friendly staff. Wonderful food. Ideal central location with Alexanderplatz station only minutes away, but the hotel is very dated, thin walls meant I could hear everything being said in the next room which didn’t help when they had a screaming child. The hotel also has a room cleaning request button (in the bathroom) that you must press before 11am to get the room serviced for the next day. I pressed the button twice during my stay and my room wasn’t serviced. "

"The only thing disappointed was, I got two single beds instead of Double or King bed that I have booked. Otherwise, everything was good."

"Generally a nice hotel with clean room, easy access to station and public transport, and good breakfast. But a few things were issues: - Expedia states the hotel has laundry facilities. This is not correct. There is only an expensive laundry service. - for other hotels I am staying at on my trip, Expedia states that local taxes must be paid separately at the hotel. There was no mention of this for this hotel, but I was charged an extra 12 Euro at check-in. - the sink in the room had very poor drainage."

"Excellent in all aspects except one -- avoid the restaurant. It is mediocre at best with exorbitant (and hidden) prices. A cesar salad ended being $28. And they charge for tap water, it seems. But the hotel itself is fantastic! Great location, great room, great atmosphere. "

"Decent hotel just a 2 minute walk from Central Station. Perfect location to explore Berlin and direct trains to airport. Nice clean modern rooms. Comprehensive vending facilities in the foyer for food, alcohol and other drinks hot and cold which is a nice touch. Hot water for tea and coffee available as well. Nice bar shuts midnight. Luggage storage via payable lockers. Comfortable, good price. Happy to stay here again next time in Berlin. "

"As English traveller we would have like a kettle and tea in the room , but it’s available in reception so it’s not an issue , lovelly hotel would stay again "

"TV didn’t work, staff generally not that helpful with queries. Very convenient location for getting into the city centre on train. Silverfish in room. "

"Great area, close to local transport, great bakery/coffee shop on the corner, convenience store 2 shops down, food options close by. The apartment itself was roomy, had great facilities (stayed in a suite) and very clean and modern."
