The rooms and staff couldn't have been nicer. Had a little glitch with our room and they went out of their way to make things right. Drinks and breakfast on site were great! Servers all around were wonderful to chat with. Great location, easy to walk and many near by places to dine as well. Would definitely return should our travels take us back to Scotland.

I was up on the 2nd floor so had to go up a lot of stairs with my heavy suitcase. The shower didn't function well. The water was either very hot or very cold.

No fridge, and noise from street/nearby bus stop was loud. Other than that, good location and helpful staff on the phone.

Lovely room, very clean and generously sized. Bay window looked out onto the road and views of the Murrayfield Stadium. Unfortunately the whole room shakes whenever any bus or large vehicle travels down the road. Trying to sleep with a shaking bed took some getting used to. Breakfast was disappointing. I expected better with the additional cost. No Bananas or Apples, just a selection of sliced fruit. One morning, I asked for more yogurt but they had ‘run out’! It was 8.30am, it’s not as if I’d turned up late to breakfast. The cooked options were small and often didn’t come with what was described on the menu, however they did accommodate our Gluten Free requests. Staff were friendly but for me the hotel didn’t stand up to my expectations.
