Most impressed by:
The Staff, they were lovely.
Breakfast was delicious.
Entertainment, Colin Mills was outstanding.
The bedroom was bright, airy, clean and nicely laundered.
Not so good:
Lift didn't go to top floor where we stayed so we had lots to carry, which was quite difficult for our party.
Bathroom was not as clean as it could have been.

We were disappointed that the pictures advertising the Walton Hall Hotel & Spa were quite deceptive. The actual hotel is not at all connected to the historic Walton Hall, and the hotel wing and room that we experienced were very worn and in need of a renovation. The pool and fitness room were listed on Expedia as amenities, but these facilities are not owned by the hotel and require payment for use (after registering our complaint, we were given free passes). On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the wifi worked.

We couldn't believe it when we arrived as we were so looking forward to a well deserved break and relax .but we found our accommodation to be a nightmare . The place was not what was advertised. Lovely room with great bathroom. A bath and separate shower was a treat. Plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. WiFi was good and nice decor. Staff were pleasant and was lovely to be able to converse Welsh. Location was handy for lots of places to visit. Defo hope to be back
