The River Lee Hotel

The River Lee Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was beautiful! We stayed here for one one night in Cork but the staff was outstanding. Our room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived. Concierge kept our luggage and we received a free drink voucher for the bar and the drinks were phenomenal. Once our room was ready our bags were brought up for us and we were ready to go up. We also were given free waters for the road trip to our next destination. Great location, wonderful spacious bathroom. We loved it here!"

"This is a nice hotel in Cork. Walkable to all city spots. The attached restaurants have a nice upscale feel. The staff were great at assisting us and guiding us around the town. The parking is a little bit far so use the area in front to drop off and pick up your luggage. The room was not air conditioned so a fan is provided. And the outside air temp was nice so we were comfortable. I would stay again."

"Hotel is very well situated. Staff were pleasant and helpful. It would be nice to be able to just buy coffee in the breakfast room even if you are not having breakfast i rather than having to buy one expensive cup at the bar. As with many hotels in Europe/UK and even the US, there is little room for luggage so it is frustrating having to step around luggage on the floor and we did not bring big bags. Often for two travelers, two luggage racks and room to set them up would be great. It was nice to access my Netflix when we were in the room at night. Nice lobby to socialize in if you are with friends or having a drink. All in all a good experience."

"We were very pleased with our stay. The staff people at the hotel and bistro were so helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean, our room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was comfortable, the rainfall shower had the perfect water pressure. The only disappointment was breakfast. The coffee was so weak we wondered if they'd given us tea, instead, and the food was just mediocre. Other than that, we had no complaints."
