Excellent stay, with a heated indoor pool and infinity pool on the roof. Steam room, sauna and hot tub available as well. Room cleaned daily with chocolates left on the bed!

Poor hotel, overpriced services and no atmosphere
Badly organised hotel. Arrived 5:30pm and room wasn't ready. This wasn't a one off as there were 4 other couples waiting with same problem. We had to ask for things several times before anything was done. Generally staff very unenthusiastic with a few exceptions. Drinks were very highly priced compared to other places on island. Almost double in some cases. Food was average but again very expensive for quality. Bizarre and sexist artwork in toilets. I would avoid this hotel.

Had an excellent stay at this hotel! The facilities are robust, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The operation time for the swimming pool and sauna until 22:00 was convenient, providing a relaxing experience after a day of hiking. Overall, we really liked this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Well worth a stay
Such friendly and helpful staff. Really nice breakfast but elements of half board dinner let the meal down eg potato rosti turned out to be a frozen hash brown. The very cheap and nasty blue fizz that is meant as a bonus only leaves a bad taste in more ways than one. Overall a very good hotel for the money.

Gorgeous views, friendly staff and hospitality. Good variety for breakfast. Can only fault not having air-conditioning around the hotel and in the bathrooms. Cleanliness could improve.

A beautiful hotel where every room has a sea view. Lots of facilities, room top infinity pool, gym, spa, hot tub - the list is long. The room was very clean and spacious with all mod cons and then some. The staff were great and the food was amazing. It is across the road from the volcano pools and a 5 minute walk from the bigger pool. A lovely place to stay and explore the beautiful island of Madeira.

Porto Moniz was a wonderful little town in Madeira and Aqua Natura Bay was a great place to stay. The hotel was reasonably priced for the quality. I highly recommend it if you decide to stay in Porto Moniz.

The place is perfect. It's modern everywhere, it's comfortable, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast was great. The minuses are: Not much to eat outside, it's all low quality, so we tried to eat ouf of Porto Moniz, on the way back from our outdoor activities. We took a superior room, which was amazing - but there are just 2 of them in the hotel and they are 114 214. We got 114, and the view from the room is the worst of the hotel - just of a parking lot and an ugly concrete platform around the sea. Just for you to know if you order this type of room.

Centrally located, modern facilities, excellent breakfast, all rooms have ocean views, friendly staff. A rental car can be booked at the hotel and is recommended to explore the island. However, bus transportation is available also. Great alternative to large hotels and a good spot to explore the Northern part of Madeira. The natural pools are great, but maybe closed in winter or during storms.

The room with a view to die for. It’s a true gift to see the sunrise like this. Mind-blowing! The room was spacious. The breakfast team was really good. Good coffee and fresh-pressed juice. The dinner was low-quality. The food without taste, strange combination of ingredients and old-fashioned presentation.

The room was nice and the bed was amazing. Really awesome gym and the breakfast is great. Porto Moniz doesn't have a huge amount going on.

Incredibly kind and welcoming associates and the PERFECT location for access to things in the area. We were so pleasantly surprised by the value. Delicious restaurant on site too! We've stayed 123 nights in hotels this year, and this was our favorite one yet.

This hotel is in a stunning location which is very busy with day trippers but once they leave it’s beautiful. Room a good size with sea views. No walk in shower only over bath which is a pain. We eat in the restaurant all 3 nights. 1st night you couldn’t fault it excellent food and service. 2nd night more people and the staff could cope food still excellent. Last night it was a restricted menu and there was also a large group in. No extra staff to cope. Food not up to previous nights and the service non existent. Some people walked out having given up waiting to order. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as perfect for 2/3 nights away from Funchal.

Spacious, light and relaxing with lovely staff and views. I would like to have known more about the sourcing of foods and supplies and the disposal / reuse regime. It would be good for an establishment of this size in a tiny village to be leading the way in sustainability. We hope to be back.

Beautiful hotel with incredible views! The room was very clean and quiet, the hotel staff were all very pleasant and helpful! The breakfast was great and the hotel has a water dispenser in the lobby to refill your bottles for free which we found to be an incredible touch, especially on your travels. We hope to be able to return to this hotel, it was the highlight of our trip!

From Manhattan to Porto Moritz, Madeira.
While visiting Madeira I decided to visit Porto Moritz and stayed at Aqua Natura. Fabulous stay experience, the staff was helpful, welcoming and eager to assist you. Hotel is located within walking distance to the volcanic natural pools where the ocean comes to rest. What a privileged site indeed.

Outstanding !!!
Phenomenal. Memorable! Can’t say enough. From the espresso to plush robes/ towels and in room amenities, to the view, pool, sauna, steam room, housekeeping . I could go on and on. But the absolute highlight is the staff. I can NOT say enough about their hospitality , professionalism and kindness. For them alone I would come back. Also, if you have not rented a car, please take advantage of their taxi airport transfer. It will save you minimum 40 euros. Kindred vegetarians, they have amazing options. I rarely take advantage of buffet breakfast as I find them repetitive, especially as a herbivore lol. It’s incredible and they will go above and beyond to specialize for you.
