The property was a good fit for our requirements, and close to the town and beach with a shuttle bus provided. The immediate area was ok but had limited amenities. Especially good place to stay if you are into sports but still great with two young kids!

This was our first stay and there were some positive and negative aspects. It is classed as 4-star but would consider 3-star hotel. Positives - Food - there was a great selection of food for breakfast and dinner. The dinner options were all very tasty and plentiful. - Tennis & Padel - the facilities were first class, with 5 padel courts and 2 tennis courts. The hotel was selected for the options available and didn’t disappoint. There was always availability to book and rackets were provided free for hotel guests. Albeit the cost to book the courts were very high. - Access - the town is a short 15 minutes walk, and found much easier to walk the back road than the main road. There is also a bus stop very close by in the main road which allows travel into Pollensa, Alcudia and Palms a great option. Negatives - Property condition- the rooms were very dated and in need of a refurbishment to be classed as 4-star. The restaurant was okay, but major trip hazard in middle and the charges for drinks were quite excessive. Pool - the main pool was a fair size and the fresh water suited although my son developed an ear infection and suspect this was the cause and also knew a number of other children developed infections. The pool bar was always open, although the prices were quite high. The toilet facilities were always dirty and had a dodgy lock which caused my son to get locked in, fortunately were able to prise open from outside. All in all a good 3-star hotel.

Dated air conditioning system let it down
What could have been a great experience was unfortunately let down by the poor air conditioning in the room which made spending any time in the room & sleeping unbearable. When we mentioned this to the reception, no action was taken and we had to ask for fans. Although slightly dated, the apartament room was clean, spacious and adequately equipped. The facilities, gym and pool areas were great and the breakfast excellent. Nice location with option of a 10 minute walk or shuttle bus to the beach

Great base for a cycle trip
Visited for a cycling trip & the hotel was perfect for that. Close to Formentor and mountain routes, or Campernet / Sa Pobla etc if you want low-level routes. Roomy & comfortable self catering apartment, short walk from town with selection of bars restaurants, bike hire/shops and a large supermarket. Secure cycle storage was useful too. Would recommend.

Duva is a little in need of a face lift, and the appliances in the kitchenettes are a little bit old and tired, but everything is working and functional. It is also a good 10 minute walk to town or the beach so be prepared to do a bit of exercise. It is great for cyclists and triathletes with bike storage and a small bike shop on site. Gym on site is good and pool is big enough for a proper swim. Have never dined in the restaurant as we like to eat out of an evening but did try the breakfast and they was amazing. The rooms are serviced regularly and all of the staff are brilliant. So friendly and helpful, they really make the place. Have used Duva many times and would use it again.

Great for cycling holiday
We stayed for two weeks on a cycling trip. We brought our own bikes in bike boxes. The bikes are locked away safely in cages (you may have to share the cage with other guests but there is loads of room including for bike boxes). The cage area is locked at night for additional safety. Floor pumps are available at reception. There is a washing machine and dryer in the bike area (cost a few euro each ). Apartment was basic but served our needs perfectly. The Italian in the tennis area is superb !!

This hotel caters for cyclists and does it exceedingly well. On my short trip recently we were treated very politely and well on every occasion I spoke with a member of staff. They were unfailingly helpful. The rooms were large and clean and although not luxurious, were everything one could reasonably expect at this price point. The cycling facilities were also excellent, with large lock-up security cages and track pumps and a mechanic if you needed help. They are located a 10 minute walk from the town, but that's hardly an issue. All in all I would rate them 10 out of 10

The Duva rightly has lots of stars for the facilities but falls down on the basics. There was no guest information in the apartment, where all the facilities were, how to contact reception, directions to the resort and the beach. My biggest complaint was that the apartments were dirty and we were expected to provide our own cleaning materials. I had to go to the nearest shop buy wash up liquid and wash all the crockery and cutlery, they had just been wiped and put away with bits of food on. The maids came in most days, straighten the bed, replace loo roll and didn’t seem to do anything else. A week with no change of bedding in that temperature is not pleasant.

Very disappointing standards for a 4 star. The rooms were grubby and dated, there was mould in our room and it took 3 complaints for someone to scrub it off. Also had an issue with a broken tap and although fixed they just left all the dirty water all over the pans in the cupboard underneath it. I wouldnt stay here again and dont think it is worth the money. Pool and gym facilities are good

No plug in bath or bidet. Bath slightly worn. Small TV. Not possible to have one bedside light illuminated at any time.( both either on or off) Reading lights pointless as they can only be used when the bedside lights are on. Patio noisy due to traffic on main road. Good air conditioning. Good complex facilities.

Nice hotel comfortable rooms but for a family of four in one room felt a bit small to me Have stayed in larger rooms in past Some areas looked like they needed sone redecoration Access to spa was great add on to the Hiram facilities Location not great for ease of beach access but we enjoyed the walk

Fabulous hotel, great location and facilities, staff excellent and very friendly. New onsite restaurant Giravolta is really good. Highly recommend. Port de Pollenca is a lovely resort, great for families, beach is lovely and great choice of restaurants and bars along the Pine Walk and around the square. Not overly developed or touristy. Great base for cyclists.

Excellent! Great location, 15 mins walk to the centre. Lovely and peaceful, great apartment with everything you need. Pool was lovely, and not too busy. Staff always helpful. They have bike hire on site which is amazing, I really recommend them. We will be back!

Great for cycling and sports enthusiasts generally. Rooms are a bit dated but well kitted out and well maintained. The staff are friendly and efficient. A bit of a walk into town but not a problem if you are mobile

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at the Aparthotel Duva. We came for a cycling vacation. They have a great setup for that. The location is perfect for cycling and it's close to town for dining and shopping. The staff is great! The apartment we rented was perfect. We did the breakfast plan so we could get on our bikes early. We also had lunch and dinner there a few times. The food was very good and the staff in the restaurant were really on it. We will definitely come back!
