Arrived at the hotel and was told by the bar within the hotel that the hotel is closed and has been for many months. Payment had been taken a few weeks prior to our arrival. The 'manager' within the bar was pretty vague with all information and did not seem helpful. He started speaking his own language to other staff members and was pretty much laughing at our situation. Was pretty rude and unbothered! We had nowhere to go on a Friday and were papped outside in the rain. It was traumatic! We need our money back!!!!!!

Be careful staying here
Arrived at the hotel to find that it had been placed on hotels.com incorrectly and did not open until 01 August. The owner then said he would find us a room and did so, all seemed very friendly. The owner asked me to pay the same price as had been displayed on hotels.com, as he insisted he was not paid through the website. I did so, he had been very friendly and I trusted him. This was a mistake, I had already been charged by hotels.com, so now I have been charged twice for the room. I contacted support and they said they would go back to the hotel to ask for a refund on my behalf. They have just got back saying that the hotel is refusing me a refund and my case is now closed. I'm still not quite sure who is most at fault here, but it is fair to say I will not be using the Milverton Hotel, or hotels.com again after this experience. Hopefully this was an isolated experience and others don't have to go through this same experience.

Don’t try and check in late!!
Well I didn’t read the no late check in policy, so if you’re reading this, they don’t do a late check in policy at all, luckily I didn’t have to sleep on the bus stop bench nearby.

HOTEL CLOSED
Hotel was closed on arrival, owner didn’t bother to contact me until I tried to check in. He blamed this on hotels .com but failed to give a reason fir being closed. Poor customer service, hotel also hasn’t replied to my email
