"From the address provided via Expedia, it is impossible to find this property. Had it not been for a caring and persistent taxi driver, I would never have found it. This accommodation is one large apartment with 5-6 bedrooms. You are renting a bedroom and have access to the kitchen, living room, etc., shared with anyone else who is staying there. After finally finding the place after 2 hours of searching, I left and checked into the Ramada next door. "

"Nice building, clean room, decent bed....but! Bathroom was missing the handle, the stove didn't work as the gas switch would not turn on the gas. I couldn't prepare the food I bought so it ended up wasting me money on a restaurant AND wasting the food. Left message but nothing.bresponse."

"Very disappointing experience When we arrived, we found out it’s a shared room — which was not clearly mentioned in the listing. The place is mixed with men and women, which made us uncomfortable. The air conditioning doesn’t work, and it’s extremely hot (especially in Dubai). The owner and management were unhelpful and didn’t try to fix anything. Definitely not worth it — I don’t recommend this place at all."

"This review is solely for this property- Maison Privee Address at JBR - 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment should not have been listed as a 5 star and should be more in line of a 3 star. The location on JBR is ok, but it is at the very end and traffic is horrible. The apartment is filthy. Floors are dirty, walls are full of scratches and visible signs of dirt, showers are full of mold, living room patio was not accessible because the door was not opening (several contractors came and checked...

They left me on the street and a guest, to help me, went to reception and brought back the following response from the woman who was working at the time: that I had made the reservation on the same day and that things didn't work that way. Extremely rude and not true, as I made the reservation 12 days earlier. I was left alone on the street at 3 a.m., with three suitcases and nowhere to go. "
