"We absolutely loved our stay at the beautiful Hotel Torre Sant'Angelo! This family-run, charming hotel has the most beautiful view imaginable. We loved the delicious breakfasts, comfortable beds, amazing pools, and nearby Sorgeto Beach. Pietro and Umberto were incredibly helpful with planning our day, restaurant and beach recommendations, and lifts to town. We cannot wait to return one day to the island of Ischia and especially to this beautiful sport."
"Wonderful hotel and spa, would recommend, not too far from the harbour town easily walkable with a free shuttle bus if you want it.
On site restaurant is average, better food in the town with lots to choose from. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. "
"Villa Tara is an exceptional accommodation; a historic building with character and unique charm. Very beautiful surroundings in the middle of nature. Very quiet location, yet well developed. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. The perfect place to relax and get to know Succhivo, Sant Angelo, Panza and Forio. Warm and courteous hostess, the whole team very committed and friendly. Sinful sweets for breakfast….thank you all for a perfect stay, Anna&David"
"Really nice place, clean and quiet. Natalina and her daughter were super helpful in terms of getting around the island. Did a lot of walking, the natural hot springs were maybe a 15 minute walk and the next town a little further but the island is gorgeous! "
"Nice stay. We went out of season so island and hotel very quiet. Lovely service from B&B owner. Booked a family room with breakfast but ended up with two rooms...not an issue for us. No breakfast being served either, again not an issue as bakery just up the road. It was our of season so I think these were more of a miscommunication with hotels.com. Great location for Barano beach, easy to reach using no 5 bus from main bus station from ischia port."
"Absolutely fantastic hotel, the view is amazing and the owner and his son, Sanny go above and beyond with the customer service! The breakfast is amazing, with fresh tomatoes from Giuseppe's garden, hot cornetti, and he makes the best cappuccinos! The view at breakfast is awesome as well.
Its a very close walk to Sant'Angelo, and Sanny had the best recommendations for dinner. You will not be disappointed with this hotel, this will be where i always stay when I visit Ischia."
"A truly beautiful place in an amazing location, right in front of the sea. Waking up and opening the window in the morning is pure magic, the light and the endless blue are simply breathtaking.
The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, making you feel genuinely at home. The food is another highlight: delicious and abundant. We had the pleasure of attending the Ferragosto gala dinner, which was an unforgettable experience: a sumptuous feast with live music and spectacular...
"Loved this property. Right on the beach, family-owned business and they are so nice and welcoming. If you are ok with little to no AC (the room never gets that hot and they provide fans), and a bit of a schlep getting down the stairs to access the property, this is a 10/10."
"We had a 2 night stay, the hotel is clean, quiet, great location with the most amazing views. Good choice at breakfast, nice pool, good shuttle service at regular times to and from the centre of Sant Angelo.
"
"Hotel and beach are very relaxing and the staff is very nice. To get around its either up and down very big hills or you have to call down for a golf cart to go into town. We thought it was a little more walkable than it is. If you are looking for a quiet getaway- this place would be perfect. "
"Vi fik den smukkeste udsigt som vi havde bestilt. Vi havde dog også bestilt med aircondition men det krævede at vi fandt informationerne i vores booking før hotellet gav os adgang til aircondition. Det føltes som om de prøvede at kræve lidt ekstra penge for dette. Vi boede på første sal ud til en meget trafikeret vej som larmede. Jeg ville hellere have haft ro end den smukke udsigt."

An enchanting stay that we will always remember. Highly recommended!"
"The hotel is situated on a picturesque part of the island. The staff were lovely and helpful. The thermal spa was great and very relaxing. The private beach was comfortable and within easy reach of the hotel. Absolutely loved Ischia. "
"Tricky to get to but beautiful! Note: NO AIR CONDITIONERS. Unforgettable for a first trip to Ischia. Despite the name this hotel is NOT in Sant Angelo it is properly in Maronti. To get there you can drive up to the Maronti and then its *pedestrian only* to the hotel down a set of stairs then on thin boardwalk, sidewalk cement, and a few stair steps. It’s a 10 min walk— perfectly lovely without luggage but a bit of a pain with it. So just know that! Once you’re there, it’s perfectly secluded with the beach right down the steps and beach chairs. The water is perfect. Down the steps a water taxi stops and it’s 5€ to Sant Angelo, which is amazing and the other best spot of the island. The water taxi can also take you to the Maronti entrance for 3€. From the Ischia port take the number 5 bus to Maronti to save on taxi. It’s 30 mins or so. The hotel manager is a GEM as other reviewers have said. We missed that there was no AC so that was a bit hard in mid July but honestly with a sea view room the breeze came in all night, we had a fan, and it does cool at night. Plus, you’ll be rocked to sleep by the sea. Magical!! "
"110% spectacular, visited for my birthday weekend and decided to stay longer, beautiful place, views, amazing staff and services, literally a little piece of paradise, highly recommend, really great, couldn’t be happier, thank you to all of the staff at Sorriso x"
"This place really impressed us.
The hotel is meticulously maintained and so quaint, with old fashioned charm and detail. The staff are in black tie, with vests and double brested suit jackets.
Feels like the Casablanca movie.
The small, simple things are done so well, while it may also be the best whisky sour I've ever tasted.
Breakfast was a feast, fresh and plentiful, while dining options outside of the hotel were sparse, the quality and price was a pleasant surprise. Excellent.
Exploring was easy, by taxi, rental car (not for everyone), bus and water taxi options (recommended).
We had such a great stay.
The one small issue we encountered was the size of the shower. It was so tiny. Washing hair was a difficult process, but there are showers in the spa area to use or even the Hair Spa which offered a range of haidressing services.
The complimentary mud mask treatment was a great touch and the massage therapists did a great job too. Book in amd make use of the full facility."
