There’s a beach around 7 minutes walking but the guy at the hotel invited us to private beach which is paid

"Friendly welcome, helpful advice on what to see around the island and how to travel. Superb view from our balcony, comfortable. Wholesome home cooked, home grown food, if not locally sourced. Really happy we chose to stay here."
"All the family were very hospitable. They even carried our heavy suitcases up 2 flights of stairs.
Breakfast was excellent. They introduced us to the Ischian cornetto- an extra special pastry that combines brioche and a croissant.
Bedroom was spacious but on a noisy road and bed was rather firm but ok for a few nights.

"The hotel, staff and room were amazing. The one negative was that, without any advance notice, the hotel’s restaurant was closed to a private function on both nights, a Thursday and Friday. For a Michilen starred restaurant, that would be unheard of in the US. What made it a bit worse is the staff were clearly uncomfortable with the situation, and would simply say the restaurant was “fully booked,” which was not quite accurate. "
